To Whom it may concern,I am writing in regards to a complaint filed against Priceless Auto Sales by Josephine Barbaretta. [redacted] purchased the vehicle on January 9th 2014. Initially [redacted] contacted us on January 12,2014 in regards to a concern about her...

vehicle overheating. I contacted her on Monday January 13th 2014 she advised me that she and her son had gone to [redacted] MD and on the way back the car had overheated and that her son added anti freeze twice on the way home. She stated that she was going to take it to [redacted] since [redacted] was close to her house. I advised her to contact her warranty company since the vehicle was sold with a warranty. Over the next few days she called Priceless several times because [redacted] felt that it was taking too long at [redacted]. Priceless Autos then contacted [redacted] and was advised that they did not know for sure what the problem was and we brought the vehicle to our dealership with permission from [redacted]. We paid the bill at [redacted] in the amount of 74.36 on January 17th 2014. Upon bringing the vehicle to our shop after initial inspection it was noted that there was a leak. We gave [redacted] a loaner car at no charge to her on January 16th 2014. She was not without a vehicle during the times of the repair. Priceless then contacted [redacted] Garage to check the vehicle over. We advised [redacted] that we were doing this and we contacted the warranty company to cover the charges. The vehicle was at [redacted] from 01/23/2014-02/17/2014 for Head Gasket repairs, during that time [redacted] contacted [redacted] Garage several times about the status of her vehicle. The warranty company refused to pay the repair bill since they claim it was a preexisting condition so we covered the cost in the amount of 1,954.42 and returned the vehicle to [redacted]. On February 17th 2014 we replaced an Oxygen Sensor based on the fact that [redacted] garage stated that it may have been contaminated with anti freeze. Then on March 3rd 2014 [redacted] brought the vehicle and we replaced a second Oxygen sensor. She thanked us repeatedly for helping her and being so kind to her and not charging her for our services or time. Then on May 2 2014 her son brought the car to us stating that the AC was not working and it smelled like it was burning oil. We looked at the vehicle and found that the AC light was blinking so we did advise to take it to an AC specialist. Later that day we got an email from [redacted] stating that the car had just died and she was refusing to pay for her vehicle. I replied to her email and told her I would gladly speak with her on the phone but she never called. A few weeks later I was contacted by [redacted] garage to release a copy of the bill from the repairs that were done originally. [redacted] claimed that the Crank Shaft Pully bolt was not tightened correctly. However in order to tighten the bolt you need to use an impact machine and if in fact the bolt was loose it would not have kept running from February 17th until May 2 2014. As a company Priceless Auto sales feels that we have gone above and beyond to assist [redacted] with any and all of her concerns and we dont feel that we should be held responsible for any more repairs to her vehicle. Also make note that in the email I received from [redacted] on May 2she stated that the car broke down as soon as her son left our lot which would have been approximately 10:00 am however she did not contact us until 3:30 pm and at that time she did not ask for our assistance just stated that she was calling the warranty company and having it towed. She also stated the repairs were in the amount of 1961.00 yet your letter stated 691.00 that is a HUGE discrepancy. Also there is a question of the fact that she stated that her son broke down right after she left our lot which is in [redacted] on [redacted] yet she had the car towed all the way to [redacted] in [redacted] MD when there is a [redacted] Dealership right in [redacted]?Thank You
