Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The [redacted] Response is not acceptable to meThe manager [redacted] claims that I did not bring the complaint to the front desk so they could resolve the issueHowever there was no way for them to have resolved the issue nor any way for me to have brought the issue to them before the problem took placeI checked into the hotel around 11:PM - There was a problem with one of the rooms and after getting that issue sorted out it was after midnightI immediately took my stuff to room #and put it down and had a cab calledWe went to a local establishment as a group and had dinner and stayed until just after 1:A.MWe arrived back to our rooms at around 2:A.MI was very tired so I immediately got undressed and got into bed and went to sleep, I did not inspect the bed before hand as I had no reason to believe I needed toIt was when I awoke the next morning and it was light in my room from the sun that I noticed the blood on the sheetsThe blood was dried, but I checked myself to confirm it was not my bloodI then immediately did go to the front desk and complained to the front desk clerk, whom told me that it was not [redacted] problem it was a Priceline problem [redacted] is contending that I should have shown them the blood before I slept in it and then he would have given me clean sheets, that obviously would have been preferable to me as well, as sleeping in someone elses blood is not only grotesque but also unsafe and not hygienicHowever the fact remains that I got into bed very late at night, I did not know I needed to check for blood on my sheets before I got in the bedIt was not until morning when it was light in my room that I noticed the blood, so there was NOTHING that [redacted] or his staff could do to fix the issueI did however immediately contact the front desk as well as immediately call priceline.com to complainHonestly ***'s excuse that I should have contacted him so he could resolve the issue is simply a poor excuse Sincerely, Raymond Yarbrough

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: If it was only a $charge (as they claim) I would have GLADLY accepted it Unfortunately, as with their deceptive practices, they are lying here too They attempted to charge me $per room per night, plus $for each guest above in each room per night - totaling $for the night stay I had already contacted the hotel, and they would NOT have charged those fees....it would have simply cost me $more per room (rooms that needed changing) Once you add in the $to my original reservation - it's about 20% more expensive to use Priceline than to go direct with the hotel I explained that - and again - VERY rude customer service agents told me the reservation could NOT be cancelled by me OR PRICELINE! Yet, once disputed, they had no problem cancelling it, not informing me that it was cancelled, they after THEY DID NOT PAY FOR THE ROOMS, STILL TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE ROOMS I have also filed a complaint with the FTC and the NY AG's office These deceptive (at the very least) business practices are a scam - just read the THOUSANDS of bad reviews they've gotten just this year on rating websites all over the internet This is COMMON practice for this company If you want to get paid for something - you first have to have supplied the service THEY CANCELLED THE RESERVATION - not me I will not pay not today, not ever Sincerely, [redacted]
