conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence. Our documented case history confirms
that the consumer first contacted priceline on Sat
Aug 30, 2014 at 00:54:06 AM ET, one week after the check-in date  advising that the reservation was not used
and requested a refund. Furthermore
our travel partner and hotel verified that the reservation was confirmed at the
hotel the same day the reservation was booked, which is June 15, 2014. Since
the reservation is restricted, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. We are sorry that we are
unable to assist the consumer any further in this situation.

I am rejecting this response because, it appears as though Mr. [redacted], or whoever, didn't really "READ" my complaint.  But it's okay.  We actually used the service again for the next 7 days with the "one-time" add-a-night, unfortunately, but I won't use my credit/money to give to Priceline.com again and will advise my sons to do the same when I speak with them as well. I am annoyed, truly, at reading that response and was hoping for something more "KIND, CONSIDERATE, AND yes even CARING", but yet, I am not SURPRISED.  Of course, a limited liability company such as Priceline.com is even less of those things (here for sure) and it's just about the "CONTRACT and MONEY", which is normal.  I attached the first two pages that I angrily printed that night just to show the wording of the two hotels on the express deals being identical, and since I was relying on that "wording" to close the deal for the room at the same hotel it really messed me/us up.  But I know, the contract, believe me - I use all them all the time, so I know.  Difference - I have a heart, care, compassion and courtesy, and the understanding of a "unique" or even "unusual situation".  Even more here, because we have "returning customers", but again I explained ALL THAT in original complaint, so I know, that's ALL IRRELEVANT.  I know the attached won't meant anything to Priceline.com and please, don't respond again with more contract or dry, evasive language.  It won't be necessary, I know what to do from henceforth as stated above.  I also understand that the bureau with likely agree that the business made good efforts to resolve and have the (again) "contract on their side.  Remember, I know what I consented to because I had been doing it, it was the play on words in the identical descriptions that threw me, again unfortunately, that I feel is both unfair and incorrect based the details of this case, which I previously submitted.  I have made it all these years without that service, and while others may be the same, I don't have to be treated in this manner (no matter what), and I won't.
So, no I can't accept something that I don't agree with based on what I know and have made know to all involved.  We'll have to agree to "disagree"!

In their response they state "In this case the consumer selected a reservation that provided greater savings and less flexibility."
If this were the case, I could understand the policy.  However, the reservation I received was exactly the same as the published rate, there was no savings what so ever.
I used the "Express Savings" option, which advertises at least 40% savings.  I recieved 0% savings.  Why would a consumer give up flexibility with no benefit?  I wouldn't.
I expected to get a savings from using this option and thus giving up flexibility but did not receive a savings.

As I referenced in my various emails to the Priceline customer service department as well as my Revdex.com complaint, I was forced to pay an additional 200 euros that I would not have had to pay if Priceline had not given me an incorrect address for the rental car agency we contracted with. I do not agree with your decision not to reimburse us for the insurance that we were required to pay with [redacted]. As I mentioned multiple times, our [redacted] would have waived the insurance costs with [redacted]. Unfortunately, [redacted] is one of the only car rental agencies in [redacted] that does not accept the [redacted] for insurance waivers. We booked with [redacted] because they had the lowest advertised rate on Priceline. If we knew you were not going to reimburse us for the insurance costs, we would have booked with one of the higher priced rental car agencies. It would have been helpful to have had advice and guidance from a Priceline customer service representative when we were going through this ordeal; however, we were told that they couldn't help us until they finished their "investigation" into determining whether or not the address was incorrect. It is unfair for you to tell us about the insurance reimbursement policy after the fact.
 
Furthermore, my husband and I missed an entire day of travel on our short trip to Southern [redacted] as a result of your mistake. As a result, we are requesting an additional 250 euros to compensate us for that lost day of travel. 
 
In summary, the 5 euro refund is unacceptable. We hold firm in our refund request of 450 euros (~600 USD).

Notice the 141.00 also the same amount I was bidding. Classic bait and switch and I am quite sure the Revdex.com and Ct States attorney will agree.
