conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence. The consumer selected and authorized the
purchase of a non-refundable reservation. I am truly sorry that the consumer’s
selected purchase is non-refundable and we are unable to assist the consumer
any further in this situation.

those terms. 
 
We are unable to provide a refund of the NSF charges that
you incurred for this booking. However, your refund for the cost of this
reservation has been processed. A refund for $354.72 was issued on July 19,
2016. We will issue a refund to your bank within one business day. Your bank

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not find 100 USD as being acceptable good will compensation. At a minimum you are honoring the prices of the tickets which I appreciate.  However,  the nature of my complaint and the fact that I reported a glitch in your software that leads to the misrepresentation of prices is worthy of far more. The time I also committed to this matter was frustratingly long and in excess of 25 hours as can  be substantiated by phone records. The good will compensation being offered by Priceline is inferring that my time is worth little. 
As stated through our conversations on the phone and my Revdex.com claim, I will consider this matter resolved if Priceline agrees to either:
1) pay for my hotel in [redacted] or offer greater compensation in the amount of $1250 (25 hours dealing with this issue * 50/hr (what I earn in my livelihood)).  
It is simply unfathomable to me that Priceline would offer me $100 USD when I reported a software glitch that undermines the integrity of your website and as an organization. I have also consulted two lawyers in regard to this matter and they told me that Priceline is committing a breach of fiduciary duty by misrepresenting prices after your "Name your own" bid gets rejected (which is essentially the glitch that I discovered). Although this is not deliberate, I deserve more from Priceline for detecting and reporting this error in your software. 
I find it insulting and utterly dismissive of my efforts that you would provide me with $100 good will on top of matching the fare of the flight.

This is exactly what has happened. I listed a 3 Star Property. In their examples it included the likes of [redacted]. What I received was a [redacted] Hotel for the price the [redacted] website advertises it for. [redacted] Incredibly unhappy and will NEVER use Priceline.com again. This should border on fraud.

Thank you for contacting priceline through the RevDex.com regarding your reservation with [redacted] for Trip Number
[redacted].
 
I understand from the information that you sent that your
return date of travel from [redacted] to [redacted] is for the wrong date
and you want priceline to pay for the change fees associated with correcting
the itinerary.  You also indicate that
there was excessive hold time when you were transferred from one priceline
representative to the next when you asked for a supervisor to get the ticket
corrected.  I do apologize for the long
hold time.  The representative that
transferred you did indicate before the transfer that hold times were long due
to heavy call volume.
 
The information that you entered into the system was
checked and we found that you indeed did enter a return date of April 22, 2015
and not April 2, 2015.  The Summary Page
was displayed to your system prior to the completion of the purchase and it
displayed the information that you entered. 
At the bottom of that page you initialed a box indicating that you had
read and understood the information presented and it was correct.  The next step was to click on the
"buy" button which you did and the reservation was completed and your
credit card was charged for the amount you were advised the price would be.
 
It was a month later that you contacted priceline to get
the return date corrected.  You were
advised that the airline fare rules on the ticket require a $300.00 change fee
and priceline charges a $30.00 processing fee to change the ticket and you
would also be responsible for any added fare if there was any.
 
I am very sorry for the extended hold time to speak to
Air Travel Services, but priceline will not be able to change your ticket
without the fees you were advised of during your conversation with the
representatives.

Issue: According to Laura Knuckles, she had quality
issues with her reservation at the Quality Inn & Suites Wichita Falls, and upon
checking out of the hotel after staying in the room for a short period of time was
informed by the hotel staff that Priceline will handle the refund.
Priceline contacted the hotel concerning the consumer’s
claims, and Jared the Hotel Manager, informed priceline that he did not
authorize a refund, further advising that the guest’s requested a refund after
staying in the room for 2 hours. Additionally, the guests could not provide
photos confirming the alleged claims nor provide a receipt indicating that they
stayed at another hotel. The guests lived nearby and chose to return home
rather than stay in another hotel. The hotel is unable to provide a refund

I informed the company that I made an offer of $50 per night. It required me to initial and give my paypal information. The site then told me that no hotel would accept my offer but if I would counter of $61 they can resubmit my offer. I did not approve of that counter offer. I was waiting till morning when I spoke with my wife and then I got an email saying I had booked a hotel. I am trying to still book with Priceline but did not approve this transaction.

rent a vehicle because she was involved in an accident; however she chose to
list her father as the driver and not herself as the driver indicating she was
a driver under age 25. The consumer states that she intended to add herself as
a driver upon rental car pick-up.
 
The consumer further states that as
an additional young driver, she was charged an additional $10 per day by the
rental car company. The consumer chose not to pick up the rental vehicle and
requests a refund.

change the departure date to December 15, 2014. In addition, we presented a
page prior to booking with the details of the request, including the December
15, 2014 travel date, summary of charges, and the terms and conditions. The consumer
entered his/her initials, and agreed to the terms and conditions, and verified
the information to be correct. Due to the incorrect date entered by the consumer,
and as an exception to the cancel policy, we offered the option to resubmit the
purchase with the applicable fees. The consumer agreed to this option, and the
fees cannot be waived. We are unable to refund the new reservation, for Trip
Number [redacted].  We are sorry that
we are unable to assist the consumer any further in this situation.

I am rejecting this response because:  Not only did they change the date, they can make their computers say anything, they then went and canceled our return flight tickets. We did not request a cancellation of the return flight and had the legal ownership of those seats on that flight. Yet they went to United, told them to cancel the return flight and very likely resold those seats. This whole thing has cost us ridiculous amounts of time and money.

With Priceline, you can choose from a number of options depending on your needs.   You can select a specific hotel from a list of participating properties with our Published Price hotel option or, if you'd rather save even more, you can choose a restricted reservation where you select the area and star level, but the hotel's name is not revealed until after the purchase. When you choose a restricted reservation, you agree to stay in any participating hotel that matches your requested star level and area selections. Any sorting or filtering you did prior to naming your own price will not apply to your request and you do not have the option to select a specific hotel partner. This information was disclosed to you during the request process.   Because your reservation was restricted, it cannot be changed or cancelled. When we find a hotel partner willing to accept your request, we immediately book the reservation in order to secure your low rate. We understand that this was a special event for you and your fiance, and we apologize if we were unable to make any exceptions to your reservation.
