We are sorry
the consumer is not satisfied with the location of his/her Name Your Own Price®
hotel.
According to the consumer, he/she selected an
Express Deals reservation for 2.5-Star hotel in
the Las Vegas Strip South Area at the rate of $33 per night, however received
confirmation for a property that was not located on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The consumer
states:
“The address to this hotel is [redacted] [redacted]. THE ADDRESS IS
NOT ON LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD.
Desired Settlement:
“Due to the inconvenience I've encountered and Priceline's denial of any
wrongdoing I am requesting that I be refunded for the original purchase and
also ask that Priceline cover the cost of a room for the selected category or
better on the Las Vegas Strip South for the same date.”
When requesting a reservation using the Express Deals option
where the hotel name is not revealed prior to purchase, we provide you with the
area map that break major cities into more manageable area. This map will
clearly outline the boundaries of the area in which the reservation will be
booked. Your confirmed hotel is guaranteed to be within the area boundaries
shown prior to purchase. Also, the map you review during the request process
will display that the area includes additional cities and/or states.
Remember - your hotel can be located anywhere within the shaded area shown in
the map during the request process and once hotel rooms are purchased they
cannot be changed or cancelled - by us or by the hotel that accepts your offer.

I called the hotel, and the hotel wasn't going to charge me AT ALL. I never saw this cancelation policy when making my purchase. No services were rendered so no payment should be made. This is a complete SCAM! I called two days in advanced to cancel the order. plenty of time to cancel. This is total horse st! A class action suit needs to be made because this is ridiculous that they keep 260 dollars of my hard earned money for doing absoluely NOTHING! [redacted] priceline!

    It's been a life experience to deal with Priceline.   The problem continues with Priceline when they say I can use the ticket before March 16, 2016, pay $200 and a $60 add on fee each way, that's another $120, so now the ticket will cost me $720,  plus pay the price difference of the $400 and the current price of the ticket now ( the price now is actually cheaper ).
 
The information I have received from [redacted] is: to BOOK before March 16th, but can fly at anytime, the need to pay $200 for re-booking with no add on charges, and the current price of a ticket is $350.
 
What I don't understand is why Priceline, who doesn't even own an airplane, have more control over the airline ticket then United?  Can't Priceline do the same for me as United to keep a customer satisfied, and continue goodwill for future business?  
 
I would like to use my $400 ticket, pay the $200 re-booking fee and use it for the dates of June 11 - 29th of 2016.

I am rejecting this response because: The car company did NOT send a car to us, we had to take a cab to pickup the car the following day. The car company said they could NOT credit us as we booked and Paid thru priceline. We called priceline the night of 01-19-2014 and they did NOT offer any car from any other company NOR did they offer any solution. The following day I contacted Priceline again and they said I would have to wait until the car was returned before they could give me any refund. I returned the car early. I had the car a total of 9days 1hr 41min. I paid for 11days. I also booked 2 hotels thru priceline, 2 airline tickets and they don't care enough about customer service for a refund on 1 day rental on a car since I was unable to GET the car. I have read many other complaints about priceline after this happened to me.  They don't need anymore of my business.

I am rejecting this response because:
I understand that there was an initialed portion before placing the bid. 
However, my issue is with the fact that I was in the process of entering a bid for $100 and when the page refreshed, the arbitrary number of $288 was entered in the place of my $100 bid without my knowledge or consent. I never typed in/entered that amount as a bid. This autogeneration of a bid amount is a deceptive business practice and should make the transaction void since I never desired nor intended to bid that amount.
