Price's Guaranteed Doors

They were very prompt, did a beautiful job, and the price was great.

I have used Price's Garage doors for at least 20 of the 30 years I have lived in Salt Lake. They have always been wonderful. They have given me excellent service. They are competent, dependable and reasonably priced. They have always exceeded my expectations.

I purchased a door from Price's Guaranteed Doors and they quoted me a price for what I asked for. The salesman did NOT talk about any other options nor did he identify any concerns with my request. Later, he said they had a door bit there are some UN-NOTICEABLE issues with it and he recommended that it would work foe what I was needed. Once I had the door at home and then paid to have installed and stained, what we found was the flaws in the door were extremely noticeable. Something that until you actually applied the stain, you were not able to tell. The door was so poorly made that the stain would not evenly adhere to the door. When I asked the company to please help me out, they refused to do anything. It took them several weeks to even get back ahold of me and after several conversations, they agreed to sell me a door more than four times what I wanted to pay and was willing to reduce the cost by 10% for my inconvenience but would not take their extremely poor quality door back. This company is a place that everyone should stay far away from! The way they handle their business is extremely unprofessional and to take advantage of people that live almost 3 hours away proves that they do not care about any customer that they have. On top of everything when I disputed the charge to my credit card, they falsified documents in order to show that they sold me the door that I specifically asked for. They never sent me a final receipt so the only thing I have is the document that they submitted to the bank itself in order to prove that they are an extremely shabby place to do business with.

Terrible experience for the most part. First off, they sent a construction crew who just happened to be going by our area rather than an actual residential to look at our garage door. They were nice (which is the only good thing about this review) and were able to help me get my car out of the garage, but that was all they could do.
We decided to order a new garage door and was told that any charge for them stopping by would be applied to the new door: We were told they would get back to us that day. Price's Doors never got back to us, it took me three calls to get a sales person that could help me get an order in after he found it. He did not come out and measure and decided to order the door as he questioned the size. The wrong size door was delivered. I was told they would get back to me within a few hours. I finally called them the next day, got a manager who was not aware of the situation. I was then told that it would be 2-3 weeks before they could have a door for me. In the meantime, I have been charged 50% of the cost of the new door on my credit card-no invoice or receipt provided.
We cancelled our order (via email and by phone) and went with another company (had our door in two days time). We requested full refund and that if there was any charge for the service call we would pay by check. They were not aware that there had been a service call since it was just a stop-by from their construction crew. They credited our card leaving a full charge (even including gas charge) for the service call, still no invoice or receipt. We inquired and asked again to be invoiced and make payment by check. The response from Price's has been nothing short of rude, they have treated us like criminals rather than customers. Even if the product had been delivered and was good their customer service (at least from the woman we have had to deal with) has been extremely rude. When we cancelled they were not even aware of the service visit, but we were honest about it. This is currently under dispute. They did not deliver on: product, invoices, receipts, customer courtesy.............. The wrong size door is forgivable, but not the treatment we have received from their office. Especially when they are the ones who "dropped the ball" from beginning to end.

We had a really great experience with Price's Doors, Jake W was very easy to work with and offered us many options to help us save money without getting inferior products. The installation of our entry door was done by a 30 year professional (Steve) and he was great to work with as well.
