Review: [redacted]Pride & Quality Custom Homes & Cabinets[redacted]Notice of agreement termination:There are several reasons why this agreement is being terminated and a refund is demanded. I have listed them below.1.After several attempts you were unable to match the existing cabinets in color and in wood species. The original cabinets that were left on the island were the baseline to use to follow. These cabinets are made out of birch; the new cabinets are made out of maple. It is clear to see that the maple wood does not have the same amount of wood grain, if any. To make things worse, the wrong stain color was applied even after the original stain formula was provided. (See email exchange and timeline).2.I have also learned that a city permit was required for the electrical work completed involving the installation of the microwave and built in oven, to my knowledge no such permit was posted. However, at the beginning of the project I did inquire about this. 3.In regards to the stove top ventilator system, I specifically requested the construction to be suited for a vent system that has the capacity of 650 CFM; the duct work that you completed is 6; 650 CFM requires at least an 8 duct size (minimum is 7 recommended is 8-10 duct size). Clearly the wrong size.4.I noticed that I have an extra hole in the cabinet (pantry unit). Not sure what this is used for and I am concerned about objects fall in and out of this area. Not to mention it does not look appealing. See picture.5.In regards to the outlets, they appear to be fairly close together along with one seems to be to close to the cook top which I believe is against code. Most of the cabinet corners have square corners however; the unit with the stove/microwave has round corners giving it an inconsistent appearance.6.You did not get my permission to use my garage as your shop; Im still wondering why your stainer didnt work on the cabinets in your shop and why you chose my home to do so. As you know Dennis was trying to finish my garage with dry walling and because of your decision he was not able to do so which was not only an inconvenience it also impacted our health. 7.As my contractor you were responsible to secure the granite for the project instead you had me search for it; which I did. I am left with a kitchen that has been demolished by you and now have to find another contractor to pick up the pieces. Some are telling me there will be an extra cost due to extra risk with handling the appliances that you installed that now will need to be taken out and reinstalled by them. This all during the upcoming holiday season which you knew was my main goal and deadline that dream will no longer come true in my new home. I feel I have given you several opportunities and ample time to correct the problem as it pertains to the cabinets and, after several attempts, they remain incorrect and neither what I ordered nor what we agreed upon. After numerous emails and verbal communications you have made it clear to me that you do not wish to come back and complete or correct the project. Therefore, I am demanding a refund of $15,000 be paid within 14 days from the date of this letter. With the above payment, you must also provide proof that all subcontractors have been paid and include fully executed lien waivers and remove the cabinets from my property at your expense in order to fully resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $15,000
