Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below That is not trueI originally came in to look at the used cars and it was the salesman who said that leasing a car would be a lot cheaper than buying it My son had then told him that he would be interested in leasing a two door Hyundai and the salesman told him that four doors would be a lot cheaper than a two doorHe thenproceeded to show us the Hyundai and that is the only car that he showed to usHe did not offer to show us any cheaper cars to leaseAs far as I choose a more expensive car because it had more options is 100% not true as this was the only car shown to meOn looking at all of the other new Hyundai's, the less expensive cars also come with auto headlight control, the alloy wheels, fog lights, steering wheel mounted controls which I might add, I currently own a [redacted] Sienna and ithas steering wheel mounted controls and that is a thirteen year difference between vehicles, most also have cloth insert door trim, illuminated vanity mirrors which also my [redacted] comes with as well as an illuminated ignition which again, most cars made today come equipped with and your not charged extra because that is the way that they are made, also another option that was said that I paid extra for was the one touch auto up auto up driver's window which believe it or not, my [redacted] also has as well as all of the other new Hyundai's, so these extra's that I was charged for actually come standard with the car and to tell you the truth, if the car didn't come equipped with alloy wheels, auto headlight controls, fog lights and all the other extra options that I was supposedly charged for, it wouldn't of made a difference to me because none of these options really mattered to me The only two things that probably were extra would of been the backup camera and the Bluetooth connectivity, but I found a Hyundai that came with all of these features and it was priced cheaper than what I paid which is $18,which is a lot cheaper especially when the dealership adds the rebate and noncash credits that it gets for the new cars plus the $2,down payment which I gave, all of this would of brought the car down to $13,532, but of course, I was never offered to look at any other cars but this oneAs far as saying that I was shown additional options for service plans and I voluntarily chose these options and I had full knowledge and consent, this again is not true at all The person from the loan department had come over with the plans and he had circled already what the best plan for the car wasNow to say that I voluntarily made the choice is not true at all because I wear hearing aids and the music in the showroom was so loud that I had to continuously keep saying to the salesman to repeat what he was saying and I did tell him that the music was too loud and that I could not hear too well as people who wear hearing aids have a hard time hearing in situations but with music blaring as it was that day, this made trying to hear frustrating and unbearableI did ask if there was a quieter place where we could go, but the salesman had said there was not and I think it was his responsibility to ask one of the people who were in offices as there were three offices and only one had a customer in it, the other two didn't have a customer, just the person who worked in the office if he could use the office so that the noise wouldn't be so unbearableEither that or he could of went and lowered the musicNow the person from the loan department had the paper and he was across the table from me and he had the plan already circled and what the cost of the plan plus the car payment would be which would bring the payment to over $which I told him was a little too high as my son is in college and only works part-time and I am no longer working due to having the difficulties that I face with Multiple [redacted] but he proceeded to tell my son that this was the best plan to get because if anything happens to the car, my son would be liable for itAs we were trying to make a decision on about the service plans, the salesman tells us that it is 5:and they close at 6:and that everyone was getting ready to leaveThat night, I e-mailed [redacted] that I was real nervous because the payment washigh and he forwarded it to [redacted] who called me the next day, like I said in my complaint and at that point, I was ready to back out, but [redacted] told me that it would be a lot more expensive if he financed the car instead of leasing it and we would talk the next day when I was to come inLater thatday, I had switched insurance carriers for the car and the representative had told me that they had a service plan that I could put on the car and that it would be a lot cheaper than the service plan that the dealer was offering to meWhen I went in the next day, I had told [redacted] that I could take out a service plan with my insurance company and he told me that I didn't need that because what I had on the car was a better plan without even knowing what the other plan would coverPride states that the car I was trading in had negative equity, but as I said in my complaint, the salesman had told me with all the incentives I was receiving, my trade in and the $I put down that would take care of the loan, so in the end, the car didn't have negative equity, it was just about getting every possible dollar out of a deal instead of holding onto a longtime customer Also I did look at my contract and states that the agreed upon value of the vehicle is $20,and not $20,as Pride had wrote on their answer back Lastly the reason why I contacted the Revdex.com was for the fact that both the salesman and the person from the loan department wanted this sale to be dated by February because they knew that beginning in March that they would be offering customers a lot more than were offering to me and that was my main dispute that a few days after, Pride was offering buyers who put $3,down and their payments would be $a monthThen a week later, they ran an offer that they would make the first car payment, give a free service plan and remote starter all for just $1,down payment to which I would of qualified for because I put $2,down and that's all I wanted was the offer that I could of got had I bought the car in March instead of February but noneof this was mentioned in the response backI just would like them to do the right thing and to honor the promotions that came out a few days after I leasedmy car.In conclusion, I could of leased a much cheaper car with the same features that I now have in my car had I been shown othersThank you for your helpPleasefeel free to contact me if you have any questions Regards, [redacted]

The promotion that Ms [redacted] refers to did occur the next month, however it clearly states in the disclaimer "Not to be combined with any other offer" Ms [redacted] was not able have both, and had she chosen the "More for Less" offer it would have caused her payment to go up substantially because of the forfeiture of rebates she would have incured.Ms [redacted] was given a great deal and we stand behind it 100% Should Ms [redacted] need service in the future we stand ready, willing and able to make every accommodation she requires for an expedient visit

Pride Hyundai of Lynn is submitting this response with regard to the complaint ([redacted]) filed by [redacted] on 3/26/15.  The facts are as follows:1) The deal for the ad vehicle that Ms. [redacted] desired was a base model vehicle that did not include $2,995 due Plus tax,...

title, registration and dealer doc fee.  All of which were included in the disclaimer.2)  The ad vehicle was a base model, however Ms. [redacted] chose a model that was more money because of the options on the vehicle.  Those additional options included a back up camera, Bluetooth connectivity, auto head light control, 16 alloy wheels, fog lights, steering wheel mounted controls, cloth insert door trim, sliding center arm rest, sun visor extensions, illuminated vanity mirror, illuminated ignition, one touch auto up driver's window which added to the cost.3) As we do with every customer that purchases a vehicle, Ms. [redacted] was shown her options for additional products to care for her vehicle and she voluntarily chose to purchase excess wear and tear protection as well as tire and wheel coverage. Our process is exactly the same for each and every customer that comes into Pride.  We are always full disclosure and all aftercare products that Ms. [redacted] purchased were with her full knowledge and consent.4) Ms. [redacted] had a substantial amount of negative equity in her trade vehicle ($3,362.36) which had to be factored into the final selling price.5) The MSRP of the vehicle Ms. [redacted] purchased was $20,305.  Ms. [redacted] purchased this vehicle for only $16,640. All of this information can be found on her finance contract. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.    Thank you ?

That is not true. I originally came in to look at the used cars and it was the salesman who said that leasing a car would be a lot cheaper than buying it.  My son had then told him that he would be interested in leasing a two door Hyundai and the salesman told him that four doors would be a lot cheaper than a two door. He did not offer to show us any cheaper cars to lease. As far as I choose a more expensive car because it had more options is 100% not true as this was the only car shown to me. On looking at all of the other new Hyundai's, the less expensive cars also come with auto headlight control, the alloy wheels, fog lights, steering wheel mounted controls which I might add, I currently own a 2002 [redacted] Sienna and ithas steering wheel mounted controls and that is a thirteen year difference  between vehicles, most also have cloth insert door trim, illuminated vanity mirrors which also my 2002 [redacted] comes with as well as an illuminated ignition which again, most cars made today come equipped with and your not charged extra because that is the way that they are made, also another option that was said that I paid extra for was the one touch auto up auto up driver's window which believe it or not, my [redacted] also has as well as all of the other new Hyundai's, so these extra's that I was charged for actually come standard with the car and to tell you the truth, if the car didn't come equipped with alloy wheels,  auto headlight controls, fog lights and all the other extra options that I was supposedly charged for, it wouldn't of made a difference to me because none of these  options really mattered to me.  The only two things that probably were extra would of been the backup camera and the Bluetooth connectivity, but I found a 2015 Hyundai that came with all of these features and it was priced cheaper than what I paid which is $18,282. which is a lot cheaper especially when the dealership adds the rebate and noncash credits that it gets for the new cars plus the $2,000 down payment which I gave, all of this would of brought the  car down to $13,532, but of course, I was never offered to look at any other cars but this one. I reject Pride's response because while they say the event happened in the next month, it was only two days after I signed the papers.  I keep saying that it was not like it was three weeks later, I signed on February 28 and the promotions came out a few days later.  Then they had said if I had chosen the "More for Less" offer it would bring my payments substantially up is kind of like the Dealership contradicting themselves because what a "More for Less" promotion means is that you get more features for less money, so how would that bring my payments up substantially I really don't understand. What they were offering was a free two year maintenance plan and that alone would of saved about $1,500 off of the price and then they offered to make the first payment and a free remote starter, so how was my payment going to increase doesn't make sense to me.  As far as for forfeiture of the rebates, I found the below item about incentives on the Hyundai website:[redacted] Hyundai incentives and rebates are programs offered by the manufacturers to stimulate sales. Manufacturers provide consumers with Cash Rebates, Financing offers and Leasing deals which are to be passed on to the customer by the dealer. [redacted]So in other words Hyundai offers the incentives and rebates to generate sales and the dealer is to pass these offers on to the customer, so for them to say I would of lost the incentives had I chosen the "More for Less" program which by the way was never even offered to me is 100% untrue.Pride keeps saying I was given a great deal which is not true for if I came in to buy on March 1 or 2, and then I would have been given a great deal. They are a multi-million dollar business and they are making a big fuss out of given a customer a promotion that was a great deal and not the one thatwas offered to her.  Either way whether they give the deal or not, they are still making a profit out of the sale, but they are choosing the greedy wayand that was never the way they did business before.  I am so disappointed with the way this was handled.  It could have been solved a long time ago,but they choose not to.In conclusion, in both of their responses, whoever responded which both times I must add, they never signed their name which is the professional way to dobusiness so I actually don't know who is answering the complaint. Evidently they don't want to be recognized as the person who keeps saying it was such a great deal and yes you are right, it was a great deal for Pride and the salesman who misrepresented the car but not for the customer.  Regards,
[redacted]
