Pride Towing & Recovery

This company lies about when and whether they are sending someone out, has no concept of communication or customers service, and left me stranded in the dark for hours They never showed up My insurance company Roadside Assist contacted Pride Towing ETA from Pride was minutes I made multiple calls to my insurance company and to Pride when Pride no-showed Pride repeatedly lied "we are minutes away", "our driver is just getting off the freeway and will be right there" "it will be another minutes" time they put me on hold for minutes to "check status" and I just gave up and hung up Other times, my calls went to voicemail, no-one answered or the operator answered and hung up immediately hours after my request and with multiple calls to my insurance company too, Pride still had not shown up and was not answering calls from my insurance company either They are totally irresponsible to leave a woman stranded in the dark for hours - they could have cost me my life In looking at their Yelp reviews, they are called upon by Roadside Assist from multiple insurance companies - mine (Liberty Mutual) and USAA I therefore believe that it is necessary to warn people who might think that their insurance company screens the towing services that they call upon - Clearly some do not

This company is very dishonestThey were contracted by my insurance to pick my car up after I got a flatThey were "on their way" and I had to go to work so they told me to put my keys under the matThey marked the tow as completed after an hour when come to find out hours later they didn't actually pick it upMy insurance called and they told them again it was complete until I called and verified that was incorrectIt has now been sitting unlocked in a parking lot with the keys inside all dayWe will see if anything has been stolen

This company lies about when and whether they are sending someone out, has no concept of communication or customers service, and left me stranded in the dark for 5 hours. They never showed up.
My insurance company Roadside Assist contacted Pride Towing. ETA from Pride was 80 minutes. I made multiple calls to my insurance company and to Pride when Pride no-showed. Pride repeatedly lied "we are 15 minutes away", "our driver is just getting off the freeway and will be right there". "it will be another 60 minutes". 1 time they put me on hold for 13 minutes to "check status" and I just gave up and hung up. Other times, my calls went to voicemail, no-one answered or the operator answered and hung up immediately.
5 hours after my request and with multiple calls to my insurance company too, Pride still had not shown up and was not answering calls from my insurance company either.
They are totally irresponsible to leave a woman stranded in the dark for 5 hours - they could have cost me my life.

They marked the tow as completed after an hour when come to find out 5 hours later they didn't actually pick it up. My insurance called and they told them again it was complete until I called and verified that was incorrect. It has now been sitting unlocked in a parking lot with the keys inside all day. We will see if anything has been stolen.....
