At that time, we checked the vehicle and told Mr. [redacted] that the transmission shop gave us a warranty on it, and Mr. [redacted] allowed us to take it back to the shop. When the shop inspected the vehicle, they said it was an internal problem and that they needed at least 3 days to have it ready for us. I inrformed Mr. [redacted] and he stated he did not want the vehicle any more.I offered Mr. [redacted] other vehicles for the same price and he refused, and requested his money back, in which I agreed to refund it, and I informed him that it was going to take 1 to 2 weeks, at that instant he got very furious and aggressive and stated he was going to file complaints against my business.I then told him I was going to get it as soon as possible. I now have arrangments for Mr. [redacted] to come pick up the money.I am very sorry that this incident happened, I Sincerely did not want any problems, please feel free to contact me if there is any more information you need to [redacted]

When you try to look up El Patron Auto Sales, NOTHING comes up for that business. They are running a scam. The owner and all his family that works there all have the last name Prieto. They are Prieto Auto Sales. They change their name so that when stuff like this happens, they are not found out. You can clearly see his name at the bottom, also its the same address, same everything. He is just telling a lie, clearly. As to the time of the sale, the vehicle was not in perfect condition what so ever. When I first got in the truck to drive it, I asked about why the check engine light was on to his younger sister, she told me that its because they were "messing with the battery" and said it would go off. Obviously that was a lie. The AC in the truck also was blowing out hot air, no type of AC at all. I also informed them of this and he said it just needs to be recharged, so they "re charged" it and it worked for 2 days. I could never get ahold of the business. Always told oh he will call back, or nobody would answer. I don't have time to just go out to them all the way in PHX whenever I want. I got scammed out of $2300 and got a vehicle that didn't even last 3 months once off their lot. The engine blew & seized because of a head gasket... No wonder the check engine light was on. I would just like my refund because I have already had to shell out thousands because of this. Also for them to lie is ridiculous, there are plenty of accusations against them pretty much the same as mine so for them to continue scamming people is just not right.

Only about money cars on the lot to be purchased but haven't went though any test to see what's wrong with them after taking our money then we find out the van can't pass emissions all the lights are on in the dash car dying out in the middle of the street after there so call mechanic suppose to have fix the problem they tell you they add new parts come to find out that they did like battery was suppose to be new take it to auto right after it quit on us twice right after leaving the lot to find out battery is no good not even good enough to take a charge thus place is a rip off when u ask for your money back they have every excuse on why they can't give it back I feel the cars should be in good working order b4 there put out for customers to purchase they quick to get your money but prepend to fix the vehicle and come to find out they didn't do anything to the vehicle there is alot of reviews on this company customer service is bad and not friendly at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone

The response that was given by Prieto's Auto Sales is completely incorrect as to how things went between them and my self. For example I never called them on March 27, 2015 to inform them that the 2014 Honda Civic would not start. [redacted] called my mother and informed her that they wanted to come and get the car to take it to have emissions done on the vehicle because they kept giving me 3 day tags that would expire from the time I first purchased the vehicle once [redacted] informed my mother they wanted to come get the vehicle my mother then informed him that they can come get the car however the car would not start. [redacted] then stated that they would send someone to get the car and 10 minutes later a tow truck driver from [redacted] and Auto Repair was there towing the vehicle. Lie number #2 once I informed them of the mechanical problems I was having with the car one being that the emergency brake won't disengage all the way and caused me to have an accident I told to leave the car so that the repairs could be fixed I then gave them a list of repairs that was wrong with the car. Prieto had my vehicle for over a week and had not made one repair to the vehicle and gave me the vehicle back with the same problems I informed them of I received the car back on March 22, 2015 and by this time the 3 day tag that was on the vehicle had expired back on the 16th. None of the repairs was fixed promptly they would drag their feet and lie to me as to where my car was and what repairs were being made. The only reason why the Honda was switched out for the 2002 Mitsubishi Galant was because I told by [redacted] that they don't do refunds and would only be willing to switch out the car for something else I would like. I have been having problems with the Galant as well I was promised that the tires would be replaced at their expense because they knew they needed placing however I was later told by [redacted] that they would not replace any of my tires which caused me to have a flat tire and I had to pay to have it replaced because I have yet to provide them with proof of insurance however I have provided them with this information already. [redacted] stated that I am not complying with them because they have found a finance company willing to purchase my contact however I was told they are a buy here pay here company and for this reason they are refusing to do any repairs to my current vehicle.

Please contact [redacted]: ###-###-####, email [redacted].[redacted] to verify that no such order exists.  I have enclosed a copy of my payment history to verify that my payments were current. The car was actually repossessed by it's rightful owner. I have enclosed of a copy of the finance company and owner who filed a repossession order with the police department to get their car back. I had to show my registration to the tow yard just to get my belongings from the vehicle. If the car was indeed repossessed due to my non-payment, [redacted] Auto Sales would not be liable for paying the loan back. The finance company would sell the vehicle and bill me for the difference. They haven't done that since they don't have the vehicle. Prieto's does not have the vehicle either, otherwise they would have been forced to return it after I showed proof my payments were current. I was given my down payment back because they did not have a car to give me since they were unable to get the car back from the rightful owner. They had to take over the loan because they did not have a car to give me. And at this point they still have not taken over the loan as it is still in my name and showing as past due. The form they enclosed that I signed basically states that I have no claims to their car, yet the auto loan attached to the vehicle is still in my name. Attempts from Mid Finance's dealer relations department to receive funds from [redacted] Auto Sales have been unfruitful. Apparently, they've been busy every time they call. So, Prieto's Auto has not held up their end of the bargain as they claim and the repossession from Mid Finance allegation is a flat out lie. Nice try though Prieto

Its been over a year since I put a complaint on this site about this business stealing my $1000.00 down payment. I received a call from this business yesterday asking me to come to an agreement for the Revdex.com of how he payed me back when I told him that never happened he offered to give me credit to purchase one of there crappy cars. The call did not go good after that. I would just like to say this business is still a scam.

corrections.My customer [redacted], did purchase the 2003 Dodge Durango at my place of business" El Patron Auto Sales, LLC"  located at[redacted]  on February 9" 2015.At the time of the sale this vehicle was in perfect condition, AC was working fine, and Check Engine was not on at the time of sale, customer took delivery of vehicle and [redacted] has not called or we have not hear from her since she took the vehicle.I have attached copy of the buyer’s agreement on purchasing this vehicle with: 15 days of warranty for Motor and Transmission only coverages, it is now 4 months from the day she purchased this vehicle.If you have any questions, please call me at ###-###-####Sincerely,                           [redacted].

via e-mail on February 19, 2015 (copy enclosed). After reviewing the transaction file, I am able to confirm that [redacted] Auto Sales did not provide the financing for this sale. I enclose a copy of the purchase money security agreement signed by Ms. [redacted]. You will note that the contract was formally assigned to a third party lender, Mid-Atlantic Finance Co. As the result of Ms. [redacted] not making her required payments to Mid-Atlantic, Mid-Atlantic caused the vehicle to be repossessed. As a result of the default by Ms. [redacted] was required, pursuant to its Dealer Agreement with Mid-Atlantic to re-purchase the contract, which it did. Ms. [redacted] then complained to [redacted] stating that she was financially unable to continue making her payments. She asked that that [redacted] refund her down payment, which under the circumstances, [redacted] was legally not required to do, however, [redacted] agreed to her request and has made full refund. I enclose a copy of a receipt signed by Ms. [redacted] confirming this. Hello, I just wanted to share my experience I had after purchasing a car at prietos auto sales hopefully to save someone a head ache and all the troubles they put us through. Late january my sister purchased a car from this dealer I helped her pick the car and the vehicle was in far condition, we received a 90 warranty on the car at the time of purchase everything was good, until a month later the alternator went out. We called the dealer they told us to bring the car in that they would take care of it. We brought the car in they told us the compressor went out so that needed to get repaired and it would only take about two days for us to get the car back, two days passed the car wasnt ready. So the owner lend us a car to use since the car wasnt ready, the car that he lend us was overheating it ended up leaving my sister stranded for hours until they came to help her. After that they lent us a different car since our car was still not ready now the car that they lent us this time would just randomly turn off by itself. After a weeku was very frustrated about my car not being done I was upset so the owner "[redacted]" ended up just tellig me the truth that he had no money to pay for my repairs to give him some time to get the money. It was almost two weeks now that I had left my car at the dealership and no sign of my car by this time they were ignoring my calls no one could give me any information. I got to speak to [redacted] after two weeks they've had my car he told me that I had already pissed him off and that if I didnt pay him $300 for the repairs that were done to my car he wasnt going to give me my car back. The next day I showed up with the police to his dealer and he had to give me my car back nothing had been repaired in my car the AC still doesnt work he had been lying this whole time two weeks struggling for nothing.

18, 2015 complaining of several mechanical difficulties. Repairs were promptly made and the vehicle was returned to the complainant.On March 27, 2015, Ms.[redacted] called the dealership complaining that the vehicle would not start. Prieto had the vehicle towed a repair facility. Ms [redacted] and her parents then came to the dealership stating they did not the Honda anymore. It was agreed that Ms. [redacted] would exchange the Honda for a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. She was given credit for the amount the down payment made on the Honda and also given an additional credit as the result of claimed out-of-pocket expenses.I enclose a signed release of interest on the Honda back to Prieto.  As far as Prieto is aware, the complaint fully satisfied.?Please be assured that Prieto Auto Sales is very sensitive to any further complaints made by consumers to your office.   Prieto is abiding by the terms of the consent judgment entered into with the State and will contribute to perform accordingly.
