Service request received December 18th at 4:pm by *** ***, Service Manager from Mr** ***House a* *** ***, heat pump was not heating
Technicians *** *** and *** *** were dispatched to the house on December 19, at 11:amAfter checking out unit of heat pump Freon
level was found to be lowAfter adding one pound of Freon unit begin working properly
Technician *** *** discussed with Mrs.*** that the unit was working properly and she agreedMr*** also discussed with Mrs*** the process of finding a leak and the fact that it could be quite time consuming Mrs*** declined the service and told Mr*** that she would call if unit failed again
December 23rd Mrs*** called the Service Manager and told him she had someone else to check the unit and they found a leak but had not repaired itShe requested that Prillaman & Pace lnccome out and repair the leak that someone else had found but stated she did not think she should have to pay for this leak repairService Manager informed Mrs .*** that she would have to pay for the service no matter who repaired the leakMrs.*** disagreed and stated she would not pay for Prillaman & Pace Incto return to the houseSince Mrs*** had declined the offer to find the leak the first time out and refused to pay for a return trip to repair the leak no one was dispatched to Boden Stagain
To this date Mr& Mrs*** have not paid original service call they requested

I was dissatified with the response of Prillaman and PaceThe reason is because I never declined the service of checking for a leak The technichian said it would take a while to check for the leak because it could be the size of a pinhole , and it would be hard to findHe told me to see if the heatpump started acting up Then call back and they would know if it was a leak if the freon was outThis could be avoided if he had checked it the first timeAfter I had the same problem again, I called someone else to check this out and they went in basement and found a leak in coilI called Prillaman and Pace and told them about thisThey wanted to charge me again to come back out here, when this could have been resolved the first go round, The service manager talk real rude to me when I called backSo thats when I filed this reportI havent paid the bill and dont think it should be paid I have to now find someone to fix the coil

Review: Prillaman & pace was called out to house to respond to a heater that kept running and wouldnt stop. It was a heat pump. So they came out around 11:00 one of the men was a [redacted] and I dont know other man name he said he been there a long time maybe 15 to 20 years. anyway they came around to back of house where heatpump was and put gauge on it and checked and said I was out of freon. they never checked thermostat in house or in basement where the heat source is also. I dont know about this stuff so I didnt know. So they filled the unit with freon he said almost a pound but he would have to round it off to a pound. he said if it was a leak in the unit , He wouldnt be able to tell because it would probably be size of pinhole . And that in a month if it does the same thing I would have to call them and they would be able to check to see if freon is gone. They left. So in about two weeks I started having the same problem about heat keep running and wont cut off. I called another person he came and checked the unit inside , in basement with his gauges and in house and the problem was I had a leak in the coil. So now this gonna cost me 300 to get fixed. I feel If the technichian from prillaman and pace would have took the necessary steps and checked all the sources when they came out here this problem could have been resolved. I called prillaman and pace and talked with service manager and told him about situation he said "well what you want us to do about this". I said I didnt have extra 125.00 for them to come back out here. He said well Im sorry There aint nothing he can do I would have to pay for someone to come back out here. He was very rude. I called back and asked what day did they come out here? He The service manager said I dont know I will look it up and call you . He never did, When I called back the next day he said I dont know look on your ticket. This place has been in business for many years and this is very unprofessional. I think I deserve some compensation.Im using emergency heatDesired Settlement: I think I should be compensated the money for the service they did or comeback at no charge and fix problem My warranty on my heatpump is for 10 years so my parts are free Im Just responsible for labor. The labor should be free
