Not a Revdex.com company, but should be. I really appreciated the work they did. I had an AC unit, Furnace and hot water tank installed. I even recommended them to a friend that had a very favourable experience with their service.
Of all three units they installed, all three had problems with them after installation (none their fault or associated with their workmanship).
First the furnace, it cut out sporadically. Furnace guy came in twice to check it, working fine. Finally he came in on the third call and the furnace was finally dead for his inspection. No power coming to the unit. Since they didn't run the power (pre-existing wiring used), it was on me. I had an electrician come in and there was a bad wire in the wall somewhere. The electrician routed power through a different line in the wall and hooked it up to the furnace and it's been great ever since (a year now).
Then, the AC stopped working. Turned out to be just a leaky valve cap. Recharged and we're on our way.
Third problem was with the hot water tank. It is one of the new high efficiency type. Well, it never really heated the water up very fast and ran out of hot water quickly. Initially, I thought it was a just the design and lived with it and left it for a long time. Then, I got so sick of it, I called Prima and told them that if this thing is that much of a piece of junk, I want a regular efficiency HW tank. They told me that it should work exactly the same and that they'd be right out to look at it. It took a few days for their service guy to get to us (my only complaint), but he figured it out right away... There was actually a part missing in the tank right from the factory; not just broken, but not even there. Nice job GE. Well, GE's warrantee only covers parts. Prima covered the labour without even saying anything, they simply fixed it and never said a word about billing.
I'm happy to report that my friend who used Prima had zero problems with all the components she bought for her house (they were the same kind and brand as mine). I guess I was just the unlucky one. Prima did a great job installing and servicing their products, I really appreciated their professional work. They may be busy because they are Home Depot installers, but they really go the extra mile which makes for good business.
