[redacted] and her husband [redacted] hired us back in April 2014. The contracted amount was $52,100. Our company is still owed $25,100. Roughly 90% of work has been completed. Just some small touch ups are required. However, we couldn’t continue without being paid for the job as contract...

required. Our company paid for the most of labor and material from out pocket. Every time we asked for the money, both [redacted] and her husband would start fighting amongst themselves. We did 90% of the work out of good faith but we couldn’t further carry the work without any payments from the customer.
Customer also stated that fence were crooked, stucco was cracked, bricks are installed incorrectly. Our company has been doing these things for over 20 years now. These petty excuses are used by any customer who doesn't intend to pay.
Our company has secured a mechanic’s lien against the client (a copy being served to the Mortgagee). In coming weeks, we will bring a lawsuit against the client to recover our money. We have witnesses, permits, and pictures to prove us right in the court.

Review: The above named company was hired to re-brick face and stucco, remove rear deck and replace with stairs, install new fencing throughout, Brick work to the outer property line and pavers. They took my money and never completed the work. The contract asked for 30% percent for deposit and the rest upon competition. They would ask for money weekly or threaten not to return. He received more than 50%. I gave him $28,000.00 of a job that was $40,000.00. The fences were installed incorrectly, they damaged the fences while installing them, the stucco cracked, and the bricks that were installed are crooked. While installing the bricks they damaged the color with colored grout. Most of the grout was not installed. They never completed the work. At least 80 % of the work was not completed. The list is endless. I am 8 months pregnant and I was left me with a mess of damages and a terrible experience with this company. I now have a hefty bill from another company to repair and complete the work.Desired Settlement: I am REQUESTING A REFUND TO CORRECT THE DAMAGE WITH A NEW CONTRACTOR AND COMPLETE THE WORK.
