I have spoken with [redacted] several times concerning out bill from 1/28/2014 and 2/19/2014 @ X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. She has looked it up and says they got a new billing system and are having problems.I have documentation of phone calls, insurance EOB, claims filed/paid and a printout of what we paid. The billing department or office filed our payment of $101 under [redacted] instead of under the patient - [redacted] on 2/19/2014. After our insurance paid, our balance was only 12.74. I want a refund immediately. It is almost [redacted]! It has been months. Surely they have resolved the issue with their new billing system.At what point is this considered theft and insurance fraud?Desired SettlementA refund immediately!! On 4/11/14, our billing office called twice to give you an update and failed to reach you. By 4/26/14, billing was able to correct the error and process the refund. On 5/6/14, the refund check was issued. The refund will be in a check mailed to your address listed in your account. Thank you for your patience as staff learned the new processes in correcting your account and issuing the refund. Staff have received education to prevent this from reoccurring. We can assure you future postings will be correctly applied to each account.
