I ordered from this website, because I seen it being promoted on Instagram by a famous person. I dm’d the person about a product and I ended up purchasing it. When the product got to me (a hoodie) it looked worn out, it had pilling on it, stains, hair in the inside and had a bad smell of cigarettes. I asked the owner for an exchange and they said they were currently sold out. However I contacted them from another page and they literally said they had hoodies available. I paid $65 with for this product and unable to get a refund due to ( NO REFUNDS) however the site does say exchanges are available.

Hello ***,I am the owner of Prime Brnd I am responding back from an customer complaint ID : *** . I am responding back because I claim to be a scammer , sending a dirty hoodie, and not responding back. I’ve recently got an direct message on my business page about an interest in my company’s hoodies. I was asked what did I have available and I responded back that I had cropped hoodies and 1 regular fit hoodie left. She said she didnt like cropped hoodies so she purchased the last as I stated regular fit hoodie so there would be no exchanges also on my websites it states no refunds. I received an direct message again about her hoodie and everything was fine I told her next time I would restock I could give her an new hoodie but I am currently sold out and I dont do refunds and she was fine with it. Then I receive this claim for an dispute and I see her attacking my business. I never had a problem like this with any of my customers or complaints for celebrities. I feel like I am being scammed and shes giving my business a bad name. She didn’t think I would see or received what she has said or dispute the charge and claims I didn’t respond when I responded the day it happened and she didn’t say anything about a dispute. I don’t believe this customer should get an refund back from me.

I am rejecting this response because: As a customer, I wouldn’t have ever agreed to accepting/purchasing a worn hoodie. The hoodie has obviously been worn multiple times. The day I received my hoodie (1/30) I messaged you about being able to exchange and I told you in the message that I felt scammed. You never replied. That same night I filed a dispute and I was FULLY AWARE that you would receive the Claim. So when you replied back (1/31 at 8:45pm) I thought you had already received the claim I sent and thats what made you want to exchange my hoodie. Now as of yesterday (2/3) you messaged me saying you didn’t like how I went about things. Making it seem as if I’m making your business look bad, when I have remained calm throughout this whole situation. The only reason I thought your business should be shut down is because in that moment I perceived it to be a scam, based on the hoodie I was sent. I even told you how much I loved your design and was so glad to be supporting your business. Honestly I feel as if this whole thing has been nothing but a miscommunication on both sides. You may just be a business owner that wants nothing but success, and I'm just a customer that just expects to receive great quality products when I buy them. However I would never just want a business shut down for no reason. Especially a small black business. Hopefully we’re able to put our differences aside and just resolve the situation out fairly and easily. Once again I meant no intentional harm when I was making this claim. I only did this to protect what I thought was a scam. I just didn’t want other people being affected by this. I do thank you though for actually agreeing to do an exchange with me when you do restock. I hope we can still go forward with that, and just resolve the situation.
