Review: After Purchasing my car in February, this company changed my contract. When I bought my contract to them as proof, they switched it out and acted as if they had no knowledge of what I was talking about. My car was advertised as $8,500 but the price magically jumped to $10,500 even though I was making payments on time monthly. Without having my car a month, it broke down and would not start. When they did pick it back up, and "fixed it" my car's check engine light has not cut back off. If I bring up this issue to this day, they do not have knowledge of what I am talking about.Desired Settlement: I would be satisfied if either the price would be changed back to the original or if I could at least get partial of my down payment back to go else where and get a different vehicle.

Dear arbitrator, We are sorry to learn that this matter has escalated to the Revdex.com and we are trying everything in our power to achieve our client’s satisfaction. (In effort to conceal our client’s identity, we will be using the term [redacted] instead of the full legal name.)[redacted] purchased her vehicle from us on February 12th, of 2014 and was pleased with every aspect of the transaction. The purchase price was -and has always been- $10,995 plus taxes and fees, as listed in the Purchase Order and Retail Installment Contract. Both copies are available for your consideration. On the day of purchase, the customer was made aware that the $8500 advertised price was solely reserved to CASH buyers. Since her budget was limited at the time, she opted for the finance option with a fitting down-payment, monthly payment, and a purchase price of $10,995, plus taxes and fees. Buyer signatures and initials were clearly printed by the client on our paperwork and no amount has been altered or changed ever since. On March 3rd, 2014, roughly three weeks after purchase, our client notified us of some mechanicals issues that raised her concern. We immediately offered to help, despite the issues being outside of her warranty coverage. We even went as far as fixing the issues before returning her car to [redacted] to maintain our customer satisfaction standards. She was further pleased with our customer care and voiced no further complaints about the issue, or any other issues for that matter, including the check engine light or any other warning lights being on. We gladly would have run a diagnosis, as we customarily do for all of our clients, free of charge! Also, it is safe to add that at this instance, [redacted] never made mention of a price discrepancy. We have expressed to the customer that neither the check engine light, nor her recent unsupported claim of a price discrepancy are legitimate grounds for [redacted]’s desired settlement. We strive to achieve high customer satisfaction levels with every sale conducted. However, both, the seller and the buyer are legally bound by the terms of the contract signed by both parties and do not have the power to change any terms, especially ten (10) months thereafter. We ask the Revdex.com to justly mediate in this matter and offer suggestions to achieve the satisfaction of both parties as promptly as possible. Very respectfully, [redacted]

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,
Review: I was told we did not make the car payment for April 2015. I was told I could pull my credit card statement and email it to the company to verify the payment was made which I did. After verification of my payment I should only owe $32.68 to pay off the car in full and receive the title. However now this company will not talk more on the phone and tells me I have to travel 6 hours to Richmond to resolve this. That is not possible for me. I verified my supposedly missing payment and have all receipts for all other payments but this company is not giving me the credit nor will they talk about the title.Desired Settlement: Credit for the payments I have made and emailed verification of. Then let me pay my remaining balance and receive my title to the vehicle. I have had to put over $6,000 into this same vehicle since February 2015 in repaids alone including a new transmission, which I also have receipts of. Because of this it is financially impossible to travel 6 hours and I have proof of all payments made.
