dollars is still due upon agreementUpon initial consultation the customer, *** *** was explicitly told and explained that it was in his best interest to resurface the entire lot with inches of asphalt or to at the very least patch the extremely bad (alligator pattern) cracked up areas*** *** said that he wanted the least expensive possible solution, and that he did not want to spend the money to handle the project correctlyIt seems that convenience store projects and gas stations all turn out to be a problem*** *** was explained to in detail why he should not spend his money on the project being completed with the least possible solution as far as costs goI probably told him a dozen times how lucky he was that the city of *** *** did not site him for the resurface that I suggestedVery importantly *** *** was told that it was a terrible idea to do seal coating and asphalt repair any time before the month of May of any year, and that he should complete the interior work do to traffic and trucks etccoming in and out of the lotHe wanted to proceed any wayAt this point his options are to run a hot asphalt patch over the extremely cracked up area or to do a crack fill spread over that area and see if it passes with the cityI offered to literally take him to Unique Paving Materials personally so that he could pay for the "kold flo" at my contractors cost and that I would install it for $dollarsI also gave him buckets of free sealantI double coated the extremely cracked areasI went above and beyond honoring this contract!
