Prime Pest Control

I have been using Prime Pest Control for a couple of years and think they are an outstanding company. We originally used them for a bee/wasp issue. They came out to our home right away and were extremely courteous and helpful. We then hired them for routine spraying of our business as well. We have worked with a lot of their staff, and all have been friendly, helpful and extremely professional. They do reminder calls and have easy billing. We use them a few times a year for our home, and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for help with commercial or residential pest issues.

Review: Prime Pest Control[redacted]To whom it may concern:When I first engaged Prime Pest Control to get rid of mice several months ago, I told the Prime employee that I wanted services that day only. He wanted me to have periodic checks by your company, but I said that I almost never am home on weekdays and did not want that service. He said that your company could work on Saturdays too. I said that I seldom am home on Saturdays, and no, I really did not want any follow-up service.A couple of months later another Prime employee showed up on a rare day that I was home. I told him to go ahead and look around. I was flabbergasted when he left a bill for $80+ for just spending a few minutes looking around.After that, I told at least three different Prime employees, on the phone or at my door, on at least three occasions, that I no longer wanted to do business with Prime Pest Control. YOU IGNORED ME.Your company continued to harass me with notifications of services, which I had told you repeatedly I did not want, and for days that I would not be home.Since my communications seemed to have no effect whatsoever on your behavior, I decided to IGNORE YOU.I work very long hours and have a very full schedule. I decided I would spend no more time dealing with you. Your mailings were recycled without reading, your phone messages were erased without listening, and your e-mails were deleted without reading.Your persistence feels like harassment.Last week a Prime employee came to my home yet again. I was out of town, and the neighbor watching my home allowed the employee to check around outside the home, but not inside. In response to the complaint filed by Ms [redacted] we felt very surprised as we have few records of any interaction with her. We have been in business for ten years and are proud that we have never received a complaint through the Revdex.com. As we do not require our customers to sign a service contract, appointments and service agreements can be canceled at any time with a simple phone call to our office. We provide a 24 hour service and have no record of Ms [redacted] ever calling our main office or our after-hours answering service. Our records show we did the initial service for Ms [redacted] on July 25th of last year and the invoice clearly states that she was set for the return service, for a mice station rebaiting only, one month later and has her signature acknowledging the agreement. We came back August 27th and once again indicated we would return for her next service in November as she was on a quarterly rebaiting program. Again, this invoice was signed.

Before each service, we make every effort to contact our customers and inform them of upcoming appointments by sending a bright yellow postcard and giving an automated courtesy call one week beforehand. If they have not called back to change or cancel their appointment date, we give one more courtesy call the night before. Our records show each of these calls were made and answered by voicemail. Only once do we show our automated service was answered in person and that was for the one week reminder call for the February appointment. During the November appointment, our technician report shows he was told by Ms [redacted] that she had already called to cancel that appointment. We never received that message before he arrived for the service nor was he told to cancel all continuing appointments. That was the last known contact we know of by Ms [redacted]. We do not have her email address and never sent her anything by email. No response was ever received after we attempted to notify Ms [redacted] of her upcoming February and May 2013 appointments.

We pride ourselves on our respect for our customers and allow them to cancel any appointments or ongoing services any time even up to the moment our technicians arrive to their door without any penalties or finance charges. Unfortunately we have no idea who Ms [redacted] spoke to after that attempted service in November, but she left our technician believing she only wanted to cancel that appointment, not the entire service.

We would like to offer our apologies to Ms [redacted]. I have canceled all further services and we will not schedule any further appointments.
