Review: Purchased a Used 2004 Seadoo GTI RFI from R&S Motor Sportsf for $3000 after texting back and forth with [redacted] from R&S Motorsports. I was told it was all checked out and ran fine. Went in to pick up jet ski on August 6th. Was told by [redacted] that it had a bad battery so he gave me a new one for free. (my bad for not making them start it for me when I was there)Took the Jet Ski home. A few days later I put the new battery in and the machine would not start. I then texted [redacted] on August 12th. Letting him know it would not start. Of course now he doesn't reply to my text message. I then took the machine to Sportland2 in Oak Creed on August 17th to have them check it out for me. Only to find that is has a bad water pump and a slue of other issues. I called R&S Motorsports to tell them of this and was basically told too bad. I have since done some searching and have seen others who have had issues with them. I should have done that first I guess. :)Desired Settlement: I just want them held accountable some how.

Review: We purchased a used boat from R&S Motorsports, 1625 Green Bay St., Shawano, WI 54166 and were led to believe from the mechanics that the motor was in good working condition. First time in the water we didn't even get to pull away from the dock as the water pump in the motor is not working. At the time of purchase we asked if the motor was good, they said yes and they started it in front of us but never had the motor in water at the time or did not have the "ear muffs" on it to protect it while out of the water. I asked if they should at least have it in a bucket of water but they said it was fine. We trusted them that they knew what they were doing but after talking to a retired mechanic that actually worked on Mercury motors he said they should have never done that. We contacted R&S Motorsports and they said they won't help us as they state we bought it "as is". But once again, we were led to believe that the motor was in working condition.Desired Settlement: Would like them to replace the faulty water pump as well as have a compression test done on the motor to make sure nothing else is wrong.

Review: Prior to brining my 2006 Polaris Fusion 900 into the Prime Powersports business I spoke with a female receptionist. I informed her that I would need an ECU - Recalibration flash done on my snowmobile. This female advised me the job would take about 30-45 minutes and it would be $29.00 dollars. My father dropped off my snowmobile to the Prime Powersports at about 2:10 p.m.. I then went to pick up my snowmobile at about 3:00 p.m. and it did not even get looked at. My snowmobile finally was looked at around 4 p.m. or so. I informed the staff what I needed done with my snowmobile because I spoke with Starting Line Products "SLP" prior to dropping the snowmobile off. My snowmobile was apparently looked at off and on for about an hour. Around 5 p.m. a mechanic advised me he was not able to do the ECU - Recalibration flash on my snowmobile. The other Prime Powersports staff was present at the time when I was informed this. This mechanic show me the digital wrench "computer" used for the ECU - Recalibration flash and explained he needed an authorization number from Polaris in order to proceed with the flash. I then retrieved my paperwork from the mechanic and spoke with the store owner or manager I believe. I asked him if I owed them anything even though nothing was done with my snowmobile and the ECU - Recalibration was not done. This employee stated, "we'll your snowmobile was looked at though" and I was charged $52.00 dollars for nothing. I did not dispute this with the employee because I knew he was not going to change his mind and if I refused to pay this amount I would not have received my snowmobile back. This would be like taking your car or truck in for an oil change and the business only looking at it but not actually changing the oil, but yet still charging the customer?? The only reason I took my sled to this dealer is because it was close and SLP made the ECU - Recalibration flash sound easy and fast. Plus I was told the cost would be $29.00 dollars, not $52.00 dollars and my sled not flashDesired Settlement: I am not looking to be refunded my money because I probably will not be awarded it in the long run. I only want other customers to view similar complaints towards this business and how they rip people off. I have lived in Shawano County for over ten (10) years and everyone says not to bring anything to Prime Powersports because this is the type things that occur.
