Very poor workmanship
I hired David to take up a damaged plywood mobile home sub-floor (water damage) and replace with new sub-floor(3/4" plywood TnG (tongue and groove). A couple of days after he finished and final payment was given, I went over to inspect new sub-floor with my friend (retired contractor). Our view was that it was an awful job. Many of the TnG areas were not snapped together.(shown in photos). There are many gaps in flooring where one can see through to the ground underneath.(photos) There are not enough screws per plywood piece and in some areas there are no screws with a joist underneath. He used dry wall screws instead of deck screws. Many areas he did not end the plywood on a joist which has caused many soft/sagging areas without support underneath. This is plainly noticeable just by stepping down. To date, my friend and I have spent at least 50 hours repairing the shoddy workmanship from above and below. For example, reinforcing sub-floor with added cleats underneath.(I have had to do this while laying on my back underneath mobile home with a 2'-3' crawl space). I have attached photographs of his work, as well as of the contract.
