It wasn't until the work was considered finished by them (and I was still unhappy) that the owner told me that they don't guarantee customer satisfaction. He also told me that my expectations were too high.
They don't communicate what they are going to do and when. They would just show up unannounced. They didn't communicate that the stamping process would leave "imperfections". Which is fine, but shoddy work is not (some of the work is definitely subpar). There are obvious signs of the shoddy work. Stamping doesn't go all the way to the wall of the house. Some lines are crooked. Color is inconsistent by the house compared to the rest of the patio. By far the worst experience of the 12+ contractors that I dealt with on our remodel project.
Had lots of issues with the color selection process. Was told dark gray was very expensive. They said nothing about red though, which we wanted, but ended up being 25% more. Ended up with a color I wasn't happy with because the sample book they provide doesn't properly depict the true color and it's impossible to find a different sampling online.)
Patio is usable (i.e. level), just not happy with it's appearance. They gave me a discount on the price (which I didn't know until after the work was complete. When the owner told me this, he acted like I should be perfectly happy with the work because it was discounted)...so the value for the dollar is ok, but not great.

Repair Would like the stamping that is near the house (foundation and siding) to not have a majority of the base color showing. It should have more of the relief color with the stamping. It looks terrible. Alternatively, a refund on the work that was done. I paid a total of $4,250. I'd like to get back at least 25% of that, because I will have to eventually tear this entire thing out or pay someone else to try to fix it if Prime Source won't.

We work hard to satisfy customers, but as we all know some people wont be satisfied no matter what. *** has misrepresented several statements as to color, price, and our appearance to perform the work. She purposely told us to come out on a Sunday to get paid but she failed to show. She made multiple excuses as to having to transfer money, or her husband was out of town for weeks. She would not answer texts, or phone calls regarding the job or account due. It wasn't until I resorted to collection that she suddenly blamed everything on her being unsatisfied. She had several other contractors working on her farm house some of which we talked to. They told us good luck getting paid - as she was difficult customer with them as well. We do great work on dozens of job this past summer and have happy satisfied clients. Just because a person doesn't understand the imperfections and dynamics of stamped/colored concrete - doesn't make the contractor "shoddy".
We already did extra work/disposal of sidewalk - for her - tons of waste/concrete as a good will gesture for her- for which she doesn't appreciate either. We don't owe an apology or additional work for this person. We gave her a discount up front which she knew about, since we were in between concrete jobs, and also a discount weeks afterwards to get her account settled.
I'd like to provide text messages and emails to show you just how this company treats its customers. They don't care if the customer is unhappy with the work. And the picture he provided is a joke. Attached are better representations of the work. I just took these this morning.
Let me know what I need to do to reopen this or if I need to file another complaint. I went back and checked all my emails from 1/1/18 on and I don't find an email regarding this.
I don't expect a refund or for them to make it right. I want to try to prevent another customer from going through what I went through.
We've spent over $140k making this house our home. It was built by my husband's great grandfather. We inherited it from his grandparents. We are extremely proud of the work that we've had done, except for the patio. I'm looking into having a concrete overlay done so that we can be proud of it.
