During negotiation with a home builder the company had entered into a lock agreement and cancelled it without authorization and would not fix error.
Prime lending had approved a mortgage of $469,000.00 for the purchase of the home. I entered into a lock contract for a 3.75 percentage rate for a 30 year VA loan with the lending company specifically [redacted] and [redacted] at 6136 Frisco Sq Ste 295 in Frisco Texas. XXX-XXX-XXXX. The closing date was 29 January 2014 with a home purchased from Shea Homes in the city of Oakley in Califirnia. The home was appraised for a lower amount at which time, the company cancelled my lock. The builder and I came to an agreement that we would both pay the difference from the appraisal to the home selling price. Prime lending was contacted for over a week with constant email communication however, it was advised that the manager [redacted] was on vacation the assistant still did not answer any emails or call and she was also included in the email traffic. The builder agreed to extend the closing date on 1/14 I received a call from [redacted] who advised me that the company had cancelled my loan lock without contacting me or having me sign any paperwork. The company failed to reinstate and honor the original percentage rate because the rates have "gone up". This was caused based on lack of communication from the company. I have since then had to contact another lender and have to start over with the loan approval process with home loan rates being substantially higher at this point. They continue to fail to reinstate the original percentage rate gone into contract with.
