I will be making a guest appearance at this business today, and hopefully then, and only then, will I remove this review. The owner of this business sold my 17 year old niece a lemon. They stated it had been in no accidents, and within 24 hours my mechanic stated the whole front end was after market. All the fluids were overloaded, air filter was caked w mud. Sure signs it was a flood car, though when asked, because it was from Texas, he denied. She paid $6,000.00 for this Laredo and they will either do the right thing, or a complaint from the Revdex.com is the least of their worries.

These people are a joke didn't even have my truck 3 months an my transmission went out had it towed there an they were very rude told me nothing was wrong with it an that I was bugging them cause they failed to call me an keep me updated. So they called me an told me to come pick it up that I was inpatient an that they couldn't find anything wrong with it so I had it towed to another shop an my transmission was going out. These people are a joke don't waste your time with them at all.. And to top it off when I got my truck back from them there was a big scratch in my tailgate that wasn't there before... Really unhappy with the way they acted an I purchased a warranty through them an they didn't even want to own up that there was a transmission problem.. Never will deal with these people again

I have purchased 3 vehicles from from Primetime, and have a very good experience with the Raj (hopefully not misspelling his name) and jay the owner, cant say there hasn't been a few minor problems with the vehicles but they have stepped up to taken care of them every time. I will continue to purchase and refer friends & family to them as well.

people who think buying a used car with higher miles are without a few glitches are naive. I have found primetime to be a great dealership to work with and will continue to do so.

Review: After purchasing the car I noticed a rancid moldie smell coming from the inside of the car. Also, the windshield wiper fluid light came on. I also noticed the rear window trim was missing. I was able to take the car back a couple of days later to request repairs. The companies filled the windshield wiper fluid and the light went off. We were told we had to pay for the rear window trim. I took the car home and noticed there was a strange noise coming from the engine. I also closely inspected the car and noticed the brake drums were rusted. I took the car back to Primetime on 10-14-13 to complete the repairs. I unwillingly payed $340 to have the stated repairs done. I believe this car is a water damaged car from Hurricane Sandy. Due to the rust damage and foul smell. Please inspect my car or refer me to a professional. Thx!Desired Settlement: If the vehicle is water damaged I would like a full refund of the $1500 down payment and monthly payments & car insurance paid.

Business

Response:

We actually helped the person fix the issues for a minimal amount( shop cost) as he stated on his complaint. His car needed a window regulator and a rear window trim. I cannot remember the details of the repair, but it was taken care of.

Consumer

Response:

Consumer states that it is true that most issues that he paid for were taken care of, except for the the windshield wiper light that was suppose to be turned off. It has not rained much so the leaking has not been noticeable. Consumer believes that once the rainy season begins again the leaking will begin again.

Review: Purchased a 2008 BMW 535I from (PRIME TIME AUTO) 7.17.16, not after driving about 20 vehicles on there lot and asking many questions. by the time it was narrowed down to the BMW, I must have asked if it needed any maintenance work or repairs a dozen times as I am currently on a fixed income as a college student and knew I wouldn't be able to afford any repairs right after purchase and I was assured by both salesman at (PRIME TIME AUTO) that there weren't any known issues, although in a previous conversation the salesman at prime time auto assured me that the vehicles are inspected mechanically for needed repairs and then those repairs are completed.

I drove my new to me BMW home and went to remove the paper floor mat on the passenger side, the carpet is sopping wet.

I contacted the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) and he said it is probably the window or door seal and to bring it in tomorrow and they will repair. I dried it up and put fans on to help assist in the dry out. after several hours the carpet was dry.

next morning got in the car and found standing water on the passenger side floor , it had rained during the night. sopped up the water as best as possible. I called the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) and informed of my findings, that I had taken pictures as well.

I had school that morning and went to the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) after school, the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) said to go down the street to there repair facility and they would repair the problem.

upon arrival I was met by a man who doesn't speak English who then called the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) and put me on the phone, I was told that someone would be right there to help me. when this person arrived and inspected the problem then somehow broke the windshield told me that the leak was in the windshield and they would replace it tomorrow at 10 am at the dealer, of which (i have class at noon that day). after leaving home for the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) I received a call from dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) letting me the glass guy would not be there till 10:30, I reminded the sales person that I have school at noon, he said not a problem, the glass guy didn't show up till 10:40. they had ordered the wrong glass, the car is not starting to smell of mildew or mold. the glass guy said he would call me later that day to schedule 1.21.16 the next day to install the glass.

I didn't get a call from the glass guy till the next morning at 8:45 am while I was waiting fore the classroom to open. I returned his call and said I wasnt home and wouldn't be till about 11:am after school. he was upset and I said him he should have done what he said he would do. he showed at my home at noon and replace the windshield.

what I also found is that brakes are now squeaking, and after inspecting found that the brake pads are worn down to the wear marker.

then on 1.22.16 the rear window stopped sliding up & down ( and its raining) I called the dealer (PRIME TIME AUTO) very upset and he said AS IS.

Can car dealers sell cars like this????Desired Settlement: for the dealer to pay for repairs of the broken window and replacement of the brakes, the work to be completed at a BMW repair facility.

The people who work here are just absolutely terrible. All of them just lie so much they can't even keep track of what they're saying. Just your "classic stereotype" used car salesmen who [redacted] on their customers and do their best to avoid responsibility after manipulating people into buying the broken-down cars that they push. If you do shop here, my advice is to literally get everything in writing (despite their assurances not all of their cars get looked at by a mechanic after they purchase from auction) and on your test drive take it straight to a mechanic for a complete inspection. Carfax reveals nothing. Also, pay the extra money they charge for the warranty because you don't get one unless you pay hundreds of dollars extra and that only gets you 30 days. My car needed major repairs after a week, estimated at over $2,500.00 by [redacted]. Further, it took me over a month just to get a hold of the "one guy" who could address my complaint- the salesmen literally set up a firewall to keep me from being able to talk to the owner. Their routine each time I called was to say "I left a message with the owner, but I can do nothing more. I'll leave another message for you if you like". Of course the salesman who promised I could call him with any problems at the time of purchase was nowhere to be found either, so as to avoid being confronted by several of the lies he told me about the vehicle. I think they were hoping I would just give up and go away. When I did finally get a hold of the "one guy" who could address my complaint-the owner, I found out he is just as crooked and shifty as the rest of them so buyer beware! I posted a threat on their web site (threatening to go to Revdex.com and social media sites about their business), and that's what finally got me a return call from the owner/ along with a crappy deal for them to fix only some of the things that were (verbally) promised to be working at the time of purchase. I say "crappy" because I had to pay for the repairs. In fact, I had to go back to them twice for parts and repairs and both times the wait time was twice as long as what they promised it would be! They ended up ripping me off again... the two major repairs I referenced in my original feedback below that they agreed to fix (for a price) was to have the front axle replaced and replace the radiator. Two weeks after they allegedly replaced the front axle I had to have it replaced again. Apparently they patched it together enough to get me off their back knowing I wouldn't be able to tell if the axle actually got replaced and they were right. I could tell there was a new radiator in there so I assumed the axle was done as promised too and left it at that. When I started hearing noises again and contacted the owner he had the gall to claim that the new axle they installed had simply broken down [again] from normal wear and tear (after only two weeks!), and the only driving I had done on it was within the city and to and from their repair place. I could never consciously allow them to put their hands on my vehicle again so I took it in somewhere else to get the new axle. The owner of this place is a liar and a criminal. [redacted] update #2

More just arose to this review today unfortunately... I discovered it after calling the loan people to try and work out a deal because I was going to try and triple my payments over the next year to get this "money pit" paid off before it breaks down again. My initial transaction and horrible experience with Primetime autos just managed to become even worse! When I was buying the car the guy supposedly worked out a payment plan with me and my wife which was supposed to be for an overall set amount over the course of 4 years. What he did though it turns out, the accrued interest he worked in to that plan with us was completely imaginary and turned out to simply be even more inflation added to the overall initial price! I just found out I owe way more than I thought I owed on the vehicle (still). He literally lied and was faking it when he was "calculating" our "payment plan", into an already severely over-inflated price! I just found out that this extra amount was not the interest of the loan as I was lead to believe, it was just more money added to Primetime Auto's initial amount for the loan, and had nothing to do with the interest payments! The interest from the loan company (separate company who had nothing to do with the transaction, only for financing the loan) has been building on top of that initial amount ever since. So by the time the smoke clears I will have paid more than $9,000.00 for a vehicle that only had a blue book value of around $2,000.00 new, but this was a piece of junk that was actually only worth about $800.00 if that. If you add in the $3,000.00 I had to put in to repairs on top of that for the vehicle since I bought it, well shame on me for getting ripped off so badly by these criminals. They're just old fashioned, plain ole' crooks who were looking for a sucker and boy they found one with me. I'm a volunteer first responder and what I do is try to help people. I've been posting all this as an attempt to create some value from this hellish encounter by posting my experiences with Primetime Autos as a warning to others. There's no way out of the loan I'm in, and currently I'm just stuck... By the way, if you study the writing style of the "positive 5-star reviews" that keep appearing on [redacted] you'll notice that it's the same person writing them even though they try to make themselves appear as different satisfied customers. I hereby accuse Primetime autos in addition to all these other things of falsely generating these positive reviews, to try and offset their overall negative review in an attempt to draw in their next victim no doubt. If you have had similar experiences with Primetime autos and would like to join with me to attempt to sue them please email me at [redacted].

Review: Purchased a car "As-is" and within two weeks it broke down. I had diagnostics ran that pointed to a bad fuel pump. Estimated cost is more than I paid for the car. Contacted the salesman, [redacted], who told me they would take care of the problem. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership within a month of the purchase. When I arrived the owner was rude and disrespectful. He told me they would not fix the vehicle and to get it off his property or it would be towed.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the vehicle and have my money refunded, I feel victim of consumer fraud!

Business

Response:

After she bought the car and drove off, her fuel pump started acting up and she did not purchase any warranty to repair this problem. We agreed to settle this issue as we gave her a check for $500.
