Car is still not running right after the repairs were done. Mechanic was positive what the problem was. I brought my [redacted] to Primo's Auto because it was misfiring. Went to [redacted] when my check engine light came on and had them plug in their diagnostic tester. It read random misfire on cylinders 3, 4, & 5. I drove over to Primos and told [redacted], the mechanic, what was going on. He told me it's the plugs and wires. So I went back to [redacted] to buy them for about $55.00 I dropped my car off with [redacted] for the day on [redacted], 2013. I also asked him to replace a serpentine belt that I had bought. and recharge the a/c. I called him later in the day and he told me that when he plugged in the diagnostic tester it said ALL cyclinders were misfiring. [redacted] told me it couldn't be a plug and wire problem if theyre all misfiring. He said it was the cap and rotor. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes. I asked how much it was going to be for the labor and he said about $200. I said OK as long as it gets fixed. I went to Primos later in the day to pick up my car. The bill was for $297.75. I paid the bill and went home. On June 28 the check engine light came back on. I was on vacation from june 29 - July 3. On july 6 I brought the car back to [redacted] because they were closed on the 4th and 5th. Again he plugged in the diagnostic tester. It said random misfire. [redacted] said this time that it was due to a faulty battery terminal. Also that day one of my radiator hoses was leaking and asked him to fix it. I left my car and called him later in the day and he said that the clamp that he needs for the radiator hose had to be ordered a special clamp because of the pressure in the hose. He said to call at 10:30am the next day. I went to Primos at 11am the next day. He said the check engine light was off and the hose was fixed. I paid him $50 put my son in the car and went home. When I got home I tried to pull my truck release lever and it wasn't working. Someone at Primos broke the cable and didn't fix it. When the car cooled off I opened the hood to see what he did. All he did was put an "O" ring clamp on the radiator hose. He never gotthe special one he said it needed. So now I'm worried the hose is going to blow when I'm driving. Not to mention the check engine light came back on and is still on. I won't be going to Primos anymore. It seems as though it comes out with more problems than it went in with. I took my car to another mechanic and he told me it keeps misfiring because it needs a distributor. The whole piece. The part that the cap and rotor attach to. I have a 9mth old son that has to ride around in my car and I don't feel safe bringing it back to Primos. Considering I've taken it 3 times for the same problem and has yet to be fixed.Desired SettlementI've paid over $350 in cash in the last 3 wks to Armondo. I would like my money back so I can bring it to another mechanic to get fixed. Business Response [redacted] bought all the parts from a part store and told me to put them in. That's all I did. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)That is false I did not buy all the parts he replaced the thermostat that I had in my car with his own. He claimed the thermostat got stuck but the thermostat that I bought from [redacted] with no fail thermostat I have the receipt for that as well . I have receipts from Primos to prove what parts I bought and what part he bought. The only part I bought for spark plugs wires and a serpentine belt. When he did replace the spark plugs and wires he failed to replace to EGR valve gaskets which made the check engine light come on and it kept misfiring I had to buy the gaskets myself and have them put in. I had to go to another place to have the car diagnosis for $75 I have that receipt and read out as well as what is wrong with the car
