Review: A couple months back (mid october) I decided I was going to buy a [redacted] camera and I wanted to save some money on it. The savings clouded my judgement and I purchased the camera even though my first instinct said to not do it. With the purchase confirmed I didn't even get a tracking number for my package, this was the first red flag. I tried to contact the company after the promised time frame of delivery and all I got was put on hold and then hung up on. This company is not a company at all, rather scammers who want your money and will do so by luring you in with nice looking deals.Desired Settlement: I really just want the $430 I spent on the camera back. It is a hassle not having money you once had and completely annoying that the company stiffed me out of a creative outlet. If you could assist me in getting this money refunded that would be greatly appreciated.

Review: 7/11/13 Purchased lens online through primotronix.com, with 3 day shipping, totaling $669.997/12/13 Purchase was verified by Primotronix through a phone call, 3 day shipping was verified as well.7/16/13 No lens was received within the 3 day shipping. Contacted Primotronix, no answer. Researched company onlineto find out that they have scammed people all over. Called [redacted] and filed a claim to get my money back. They instantly refunded my money and went to work dealing with Primotronix.7/20/13 I purchased another lens through [redacted] and went out of town for a month (the reason I was purchasing the lens with 3 day shipping was because I was going to travel for a month)8/20/13 returned home and found out the lens was delivered and signed for by our house sitter unknowingly. I called [redacted] and followed up saying I received the lens but would be returning it because I no longer needed it. All original packaging was unopened by order of [redacted].8/21/13 Was able to contact Primotronix by phone and was emailed a return shipment label from them. (have copy)8/28/13 Lens was shipped out by [redacted] with confirmation of signature delivery on 9/3/13 (have copy). Contacted [redacted] with tracking information since the claim was still open with them.9/27/13 Contacted primotronix to check on my refund status and was told that they had switched credit card companies and my refund was with the old company and they would now have to "write me a check" for the refund which would take 3 week weeks to get out. Also contacted [redacted] with this information for their claim and they began attempting to re open the claim. Several phone calls with [redacted] attempting to re open the claim and contact Primotronix were unsuccessful. [redacted] states now that they are outside their claim timeframe and can no longer assist. Recent contact with Primotronix states that a new company took over the domain and have nothing to do with old orders or refunds.Desired Settlement: I have all proper documentation including [redacted] signature delivery confirmation from Primotronix and would like my refund of $669.99.

Review: I made a very large purchase online: a camera and quite a bit of camera equipment. Just after placing my order, I received a call saying that "the camera I just ordered" ([redacted]) was "no longer available". I was told I could "upgrade to a ** for half of the upgrade price," ensuring me that this would be "a [redacted]. model - a finer, better quality camera than [redacted]"... I was blown away with the final price of: $3788.99 (vs my original order of under $2000, keeping below my personal limit). Being induced to believe that I was getting "exceptionally good deals" on such "quality products", being told I was getting such "discounts and deals" (some things "half off" or "free"), and being pressured into making a quick decision... I took the deal, being convinced this investment was "worth it"... Upon receiving my order, I faced immediate disappointment!!! First of all, with the surprising poor quality of equipment: flash, tripod, filters, remote, etc... Everything looked CHEAP (Much of it was just worthless to me! The quality pictured on the order being so much better than it was in reality, that, had Iseen it first, I never would have bought it!). And secondly, in examining the shipment, I found serious "ERRORS" or misrepresentations, ie: 1) I was told the camera would take a ** card, but in fact it takes **!, and 2) I was told I was getting a [redacted] camera bag, but I received a lesser quality [redacted]!. With my great overall disappointment in what I now discovered to be such inferior equipment (and for which I had paid dearly!), together with the negative feeling about the whole experience of being led into such a burdensome, unwanted expense... I felt terribly MISLED, DECEIVED, TAKEN!! I began researching online-prices starting with the [redacted] products and cheap lenses and was floored by the extremely low prices I found at other sites for the same items! I then wanted to verify Primotronix INDIVIDUAL PRICE for the camera, etc., and explored the website, adding up the individual cost of items I had purchased in my "package deal." I was shocked to find that the "PACKAGE DEAL" I was given (with all of its so-called, enticing "DISCOUNTS"!) was false! It was NO DEAL AT ALL - for my "DISCOUNT PACKAGE" PRICE GREATLY EXCEEDED INDIVIDUAL PURCHASE PRICES listed on Primotronix own site!! Primotronix was actually OVERCHARGING me by over $1000! I was shocked and felt absolutely defrauded!Having this new information, I called to complain about these charges, "errors," and inferior products... seeking to return my order. I waited an hour just to talk to someone before speaking with customer service representative "[redacted]" who apologized for prices being so high, saying Primotronix would give me aREFUND of $600 and a HIGH SPEED QUALITY MEMORY CARD as a complimentary gift. However, now dissatisfied with both the products and a very costly bill (that yet seemed outrageous even with the refund), I stated I wanted time to consider this. I requested an itemized list of the products sent to me declaring the exact cost of each! (I needed to assess the cost of each item in hand in order to consider their worth, deciding to keep or return them...) "[redacted]" agreed to send the list; I would receive it "before 6pm that night." I waited... 3 days, still NO LIST!! Instead, CONTRARY TO OUR ARRANGEMENT and to my outright surprise, I received an email stating "the amount of $599.99 was refunded... and the ** card released..." BUT!! I HAD NOT DECIDED TO KEEP THIS EQUIPMENT!!! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS!! And... TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE $600 REFUND OR ** MEMORY CARD!! I sent several emails, with NO RESPONSE from "[redacted]" or Primotronix customer service. I made several phone calls in the effort of trying to contact "[redacted]" or customer service to clear this new matter up. When I did finally reach him, he again made another offer to patch things up. They could send me an additional lens of "significantly better quality," as well as a better quality camera bag and tripod. Feeling ABSOLUTELY FED UP with everything... trapped, lied to, violated, defeated... not seeing a way out of this and desperate to just be finished with this company... I gave in to his PRESSURE and rudeness.A little over a week later, I received the lens... BUT NO PROMISED CAMERA BAG! NO TRIPOD! NO ** CARD AS BEFORE PROMISED! Thinking this couldn't get worse, I then discovered that... THE LENS DOES NOT EVEN FIT THE CAMERA!!!!!!At this time I stopped trying to handle this alone! The lens and camera were examined by several local camera specialists who told us: 1) "THE CAMERA IS JUNK!" - the lens fit on other cameras in their stores, BUT IT DOES NOT FIT ON THIS CAMERA!!!! 2) THE CAMERA IS NOT [redacted] MADE!!!! - it is actually a [redacted] model. 3) EACH OF THE CAMERA SPECIALISTS consulted said that they were very sorry to say that I was "completely ripped" off by Primotronix with the "outrageous price" I paid for the camera and equipment. (One said he felt "sick" this could happen...) This was the "last straw." I am VERY UPSET, DISGUSTED, and UNHAPPY with this entire ordeal. I can't believe that this could happen to anyone!...From the way I was treated throughout this transaction...to the DEFECTIVE, FAULTY, POOR QUALITY, INFERIOR MERCHANDISE...to the EXORBITANT COST for these MISREPRESENTED items...to all the DECEPTION I experienced (including the "package deal" that actually cost me MORE than buying things individually!!!)...to the MONEY ($600) I was told would be REFUNDED, but NEVER RECEIVED!!!...to the PROMISED MERCHANDISE NEVER RECEIVED (camera bag, tripod, ** card)...Desired Settlement: RETURN ALL MERCHANDISE PURCHASED FOR A FULL, COMPLETE, UNCONDITIONAL REFUND!

Review: I purchased a new [redacted] camera from Primotronix online on April 12, 2013. I paid $179.99 for the camera. It arrived when it was supposed to and seemed to work fine, until a couple weeks ago. I attempted to plug it in to my computer and it wouldn't recognize the camera was connected. I contacted [redacted] to arrange to have it repaired since it came with a one year warranty through them. When they received my camera, they sent me an email saying the repair would be approximately $150. At that time I became confused over why they would charge me anything for a warranty claim, so I called them. When I spoke to someone about it, they informed me that the warranty expired on the camera in February of 2013. 2 full months before I even purchased it. I asked how that could be. They told me I had a refurbished camera! No where on the ad did it say ANYTHING about it being a refurbished unit. The price for it was in line with what it was on other sites, but they had shipping included so I decided to buy from Primotronix. There was NO indication either on the web page, or on my receipt that this was NOT a new unit.I emailed to tell them they had defrauded me and sold me a refurbished unit as a new unit and charged me full price for it. I got a stock reply saying to call their customer service number. I had already tried calling it before I sent the email but the number never would connect. Suspecting this was something they did rather frequently I began to investigate their company through [redacted], and [redacted]. No surprise, they routinely do this type of thing to customers. They also have a phone number they refer people to call in to that isn't even working. The sales number listed on their website I have tried calling numerous times too only to hear a recording come on saying they are not open now, and it then lists their hours. Twice now the recording has been on when they were supposed to have been open.Desired Settlement: I want a FULL refund for the cost of my camera and the cost to mail it in to [redacted] ($10.53) only to be told my warranty was expired. Had I known it was a refurbished unit I never would have tried to get a warranty repair on it! I have been defrauded! If a class action lawsuit is filed against them, I would like to join in it. There are PLENTY of people who have complained about them and I'm sure would join in too!

Review: I ordered a camera. They sent the wrong product so I returned the product useing the corret proceedor and they promised a refund Oct.30 2013 but it never came. I have tried to contact them through e-mail and phone. All e-mails have been ignored and calls never answered or returned. The refund is for $398.99Desired Settlement: A full refund of $398.99

Review: I ordered a [redacted] Digital Camera (Black) for $263.99 on August 23, 2013. On August 26, I received a voice mail from Primotronix saying that my order had been placed on hold until I returned their call. I returned their call on August 26 during; in this call they attempted to get me to buy an additional battery. I declined their offer after determining that they were charging an above-market rate. During the call, they told me that my order had been taken off hold. On August 27, my credit card was charged for $263.99. The shipping was supposed to be 7 to 9 business days and the item was in stock. On September 10 I called Primotronix to inquire on the status of the order as it had not arrived. They said that the camera had shipped and would arrive shortly. On September 25 I called again as the camera had still not arrived. They said that the camera had not shipped and, additionally, that the camera was not in stock. They said that the camera would be in stock soon and that they would ship it as soon as it was. On October 9, my secretary called Primotronix to request an invoice. They told my secretary that the invoice would come "in 5 minutes." It never came.On October 18, I called Primotronix again. The company said that they had cancelled my order (without notifying me that they had done so) and that they had returned the credit to my credit card. They said that they made the full refund on October 16. My secretary and I have examined our account record -- Primotronix has not yet refunded any of our original purchase.Desired Settlement: I request a refund of $263.99.
