I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
At the heart of this issue is the verbal agreement I had with The Manufactory representative that we wanted to sign *** up for a single month wood shop membership since she only had a very small project she wanted to work on (a bookshelf) and we would be moving out of the state at the end of the month with no plans to ever returnTheir response was that the representative does not recall this transactionSo, yes they addressed it, but obviously not in a very satisfying mannerFurthermore, they are stating blatantly facts in their responseIn their response they say that I made an assumption they would suspend my membership "while I was traveling with no verbal or written expression"This is simply not trueI told all four family owners of this business (Lee, Tom, Kyle, and Ben) multiple times that I would be moving out of the state at the end of March with no plans to ever returnThey were well aware of this and Lee even came to take pictures of the project I was building at the business a week or so before I leftThe project I was working on was a tiny house on wheels and it was stated explicitly several times that I would be using this house to facilitate a move to California with no plans to return to Ohio and wanted my membership and storage fees ended at that timeHowever, that is separate from the issue at handI would not expect them to know that the person I signed up for the single month wood shop membership was coming with me to California and thus know to cancel the membership when I leftAgain, this issue comes down to the verbal agreement I had with the Manufactory representative Justin that we would signing up for a single month wood shop membership.

The individual which filed the complaint has been a member of our organization for a year prior to this incident. He was well aware of the autopayment system and this was the second incident in the year that he failed to notify us to cancel/suspend his membership subscription service, During the...

first incident, the individual assumed we would suspend his membership while he was traveling without verbal or written expression, We refunded $131.14 for hls mistake.The second Incident covered a period of 6 months of membership that he bought for his girlfriend which overlapped the first incident. He claims that he told one of our sales associates that he only wanted one month, Our sales associate clairns that he doesn't recall handling the individual's transaction. Our receipt shows that he agreed to pay the monthly recurring charges with no further written negotiation.We understand that accidents happen and try to take care of Our member-based community to the best of our abilitles. The first refund was granted as an act of kindness and understanding of the stress his project was causing. This second incident was a blatant disregard for financial responsibility and our company should not be held liable for personal financial mistakes.
