Prince William Emergency Veterinary Clinic

Review: I took my dog to this Veterinarian Clinic, They wouldn't let us go back with him and they told us that his heart was as young as a puppy and gave him medicine and then, two days later we had to take him to a different veterinarian clinic and he was having heart failure. We took him to the Prince William Emergency Veterinary Clinic on 07/26 and he passed away on 07/28.Desired Settlement: I would like a full chart on his health record and a explanation of what was really happening too him.

Review: In August I had my dog treated at the Emergency Vet. They diagnosed mastitis and sent me home with antibiotics for the dog. The dogs swelling got worse so on the Monday I took her to my usual vets. They diagnosed an abscess that required immediate draining. So, PWEVC got the diagnosis wrong, for which I paid them around $150.

Ten days ago I got home to find my dog was having problems seeing. I once again took her to PWEVC. They diagnosed detached retinas and that she must be taken to an ophthalmologist ASAP. For this they charged me nearly $300. The following morning, I drove 60+ miles, paid nearly $400 to the specialist who did a quick blood sugar test, told me my dog was diabetic and had cataracts! They were amazed that the emergency vets couldn't do a simple diagnostic check.

I called PWEVC and asked to talk to one of the practice principals or manager. I spoke with Maria O[redacted] the Hospital Director and told her I would like a refund. She said she would talk with the management and call me back, Tuesday, 10/7/14. I received no call back. I called yesterday, Sunday 10/12/14 and spoke with the receptionist who would pass a message on to Maria for her to call me regarding this matter. I did not receive a return call.

The business hours for PWEVC are from 6pm until 8pm and there is never anyone there to respond to my request.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the visit on 10/3/14. They can deduct the amount for the eye drops supplied.
