We regret the inconvenience to the customer, but in this case we need to stand behind our standard return policy The customer has had the watch for over two months and indicated that he had been wearing it At some point, he got water in it and now wants to exchange it for a different watch.Our return policy clearly states that watches must be returned in new, unworn condition Had the watch been defective when he first wore it and within the days, we would have taken it back and returned it to the manufacturer.The manufacturer, [redacted] does have a two year "buckle to buckle" warrantyso the watch can certainly be fixed, but he will need to follow the instructions in his warranty manual [redacted] is in California -- the same state as the customer, so he should get quick service from them[redacted] Princeton Watches

The customer may return the watch for a full refund.Please return the watch with all the original packaging and paperwork to Kinsman RoadNewbury, OH 44065The watch must be securely packaged in a box, not a shipping envelope and insured in the event it is lost or damaged in transit.We will refund the original purchase within business days of receipt

As you can see from the attached .pdf, when you search for the item on google it shows "in stock" at princeton watches It does not say available to order, but says in stock After one clicks on that link stating "in stock" it takes you to the item in question saying "save 28% today and your price includes fast, free shipping(another .pdf attached showing this)This was supposed to be a gift, and it is now over a month $does nothing for this long delay for an item showing in stockThe website should say "all items available to order" versus "we have a large inventory in stock..." as what is stated on the princeton watches website under "about us"https://www.princetonwatches.com/pages/about-usI strongly believe this is a bait and switch when the original email I received talked about receiving money off an additional item.I would like princeton watches to send the item ordered in the fast free shipping that they promised, or send item ***-CW or item *** for the price of item *** The pen set includes item ***-cw, but *** is basically the same watch Surely with the "large inventory in stock..." they have to have one of those items

After filing the claim ID *** on Monday with you I was away from home for a dayI arrived home to a message from " F*" from Princeton Watches stating that my returned watch was indeed defective and that a credit for full purchase price including my return postage was credited back to
my cardI checked the card and indeed today 10-13-return credit to account from Princeton was receivedI can only assume that your help was instrumental in their sudden change of mindI thank you very much for your help and assistance in this matter. Very Thankful, *** ***

Thank you for informing us about this customer's experience.Because the customer in good faith thought the watch was defective we are issuing a complete refund.  The watch was evaluated by our QA department and found to be in perfect working order, but we should still have given the customer...

the benefit of the doubt.We issued a credit today to the original credit card for 15.35 which was the shipping deduction.  Since we can't credit the credit card for more than the original amount, our accounting department will be issuing a check in the next week for the $5.78 that the customer spent to return the watch to us.

Thank you for calling our customer's problem to our attention.The customer bought the watch from us two years ago.  We are not sure when the problem started but when we contacted him a few days ago, he indicated that he had been contacting the manufacturer, not us to attempt to solve the...

problem.Even though this item is not covered by the warranty, and is well beyond our return policy, we have ordered a replacement clasp from the manufacturer at our own expense and will send it to him at no charge as soon as it arrives.The customer has indicated that he appreciates this, and is happy with this solution.

Over-Sized Wall Clock - Rustic Metal Numerals - Pine Veneer, item # C4814.  You first notified us of the need to return the item on 2/27/18 through [redacted], we approved the return via [redacted]. On 3/6/18, we responded to an email from [redacted] advising that the return was approved, and the item could be returned. On 3/26/18 an additional request was made to return the item; the return was approved, and a UPS call tag was emailed through [redacted] to assist with the return of the item at no cost to you. On 4/17/18 [redacted] reached out to Princeton Watches because the return had not been completed and the UPS call tag had not been used. On 4/17/18, we reached to you via [redacted], to advise that the return is still approved and that the UPS call tag can be used to return the item at no cost to you. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It is clear that the customer service  thought I WORE the watch for two months before I tried to return it.  This of course is not true.  This watch was a gift for my fiftieth birthday which was 11-2-15.  The watch was bought on 10-3-15 to ensure it was in hand before we left for our vacation. The watch was worn for approximately 24 hours before it was deemed defective and because we are used to doing business with MODERN companies we figured there would be ZERO problem with the return as we had paid quite a bit of money for the product. We even offered to upgrade and purchase a more expensive watch for their troubles.  I am sorry that they are struggling with this brand of watch ([redacted]) and the returns that are coming along with it but that is ot the problem of the consumer.
