Priority Homes, Inc. Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business response ignores the fact that there was a 2xfoot hole cut in the drywall directly over the crack and the patched over to hide the crack No explanation as to why the hole was cut is offered The crack was not minor and mold resulted in the carpet pad, tack strip and baseboard The first two were replaced at our expense and we cleaned the baseboard and repainted, again at our expense The window was part of a warranty claim a year ago which was not fixed despite at least three promises that it would be fixed The downspout design is defective as it creates a sheet of ice in freezing weather, which the business recognized and fixed in the house next to ours, which it also built I both called and wrote to the business before my complaint, but there was no response to the telephone call and the business moved so the letter was returned The owner was advised of this the same day as the complaint was filed. The business has not reimbursed me for my out-of-pocket costs or fixed the dangerous condition they createdIt should do so
Regards,*** ***

Priority Homes did finish a portion of that customer's basement. Prior to finishing any basement it is standard practice of Priority Homes to inject any and all cracks prior to dry walling. The crack the customer found was not there when Priority Homes finished his basement. The customer has lived in...

the home for over two years. A crack can appear for a number of reasons,...ex: settlement, hoe rarnrning on lots nearby, or blasting in the new section of the subdivision. In reply to the allegation that the crack was there and hidden.....the exterior of all our basements are waterproofed, and included at no charge, any/ all cracks are injected with Epoxy. It would not make sense to hide a crack....please note it does not cost the builder anything to fix a crack in the building process! It would only leave you open for problems after the fact. It would not have taken over two years to leak either. The customer had a sprinkler system installed sometime after moving in, the sprinkler heads were installed up against the house and spraying at the home,However, Our Waterproofing Company has a 15 year warranty and has already repaired the Crack. The leak was minor, after inspection we concluded it was coming from the sprinkler head near a crack. There was no mold or carpet damage. Although, Priority Homes was not required too, we did install new drywall and stretched the carpet back in place. The Downspout was installed properly and meets building code; the homeowner inspected the home prior to closing. Should the customer prefer that an extension be ran from the downspout, that is the customer's preference, and would be done so by the homeowner. The Window Company installed a new sash on the window, eliminating the draft.Priority Homes never received any messages, or calls until this letter to the Revdex.com.Priority Homes always responds to their clients. That is how we have maintained an A+ rating for years in business.Sincerely,[redacted]
