Review: Art placed a heater in our home in July of 2014. After coming home a cold day in January 2015 we attempted to turn on the heater. It soon started letting off a horrible smell and smoking the house with a thick white smoke. It started giving our children a headache, so we turned it off. After cooling I removed the cover and noticed Art had left the plastic instructions in the unit. That had melted and caused the horrible toxic smell. I immediately called him, left a message and emailed him and the other email he had given us. One email is [redacted]@yahoo.com and the other is [redacted]@yahoo.com He also has two numbers 619 [redacted] and 619 [redacted].He responded and stopped by the house that week to look at unit. He had no regret for the fumes we inhaled due to his negligence. He told me that the pilot igniter was broken, that he would purchase it and return. We never saw him again. I continuously texted and called him, leaving messages. Once in a while he would return a text, setting a date of when he would come over. We would wait for him, call him and he never showed. That occurred several times throughout the year. We also attempted email and he did not reply. We would love for the heater to get fixed especially with the cold weather approaching, but at this point I don't trust he will ever fix it. He has proven to have no business etiquette he holds a business license #[redacted] but he obviously does not hold it very highly. I would appreciate if he would refund us the $1500.00 he charged us. This way we can move on and purchase something that will work. I fear he is just letting time pass knowing we will lose our guarantee.Desired Settlement: I would like him to come fix unit. He's been promising to come fix and never shows up. The two year warranty is going to expire and the unit has not worked properly. If need be a full refund would be satisfactory
