I have a NO REFUND policy stated on my Etsy site where all buyers can see before they purchase a custom dressI encourage my buyers to read it before they purchase as written on my profileWhether or not the dress is worn or brand new, it is a piece of art and custom made to the customers specification and therefore unsellable so I DO NOT offer refunds on unsellable artI have been servicing clients for years now and have not had any unsatisfied clients therefore there should be no need to warn others on these charges and ruin their chances of getting a nice handmade dress with great responsive customer serviceI will cut and past the emails to this forum so everyone can see the truthThe length measurement was not supplied to me however I did agree in the emails to send payment for that tailoring serviceIf you would like me to send payment for a tailor, I will be happy to do soThe usual rate is $**A full refund I cannot give becuase the dress is now unwearable and unsellablePlease let me send payment for a tailor so that you can be satisfiedI have 100% customer satisfaction listed on my siteAnd I would be happy to work this out so we can put it behind usI can also re adjust the length here and ship it back if that would work betterThis service is offered in my policy and I will be happy to do it of no charge so that it fits her.Can I provide proof here that the refund was given as well as a shipping number for the dress so we can get this squared away all in good will

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The seller made a costume for my daughterA Harley Quinn costume I requested a carnival/Harley Quinn dressI received a Harley Quinn costume (when I did not even know who this character was)I expressed my dislike as soon as the dress was made and I had seen a picture of itI contacted the sellerThis is what the seller wrote in her email to me verbatim: "I do apologize for the misunderstanding on the Harley QuinnThat was entirely my fault I was thinking a free Circus Dress and a partial refundBut, I am more than happy to get you a full refund seeing that it was upsettingPlease let us work this out so we can put it behind usI am calling [redacted] now." I never heard from the seller again I emailed her two times to see if she was planning on posting a refund, and I never received a response I understand that she can probably never use what she made, but neither could I, considering I didn't order a costume but a dress Please let this be a lesson to anyone who might want a custom prom or bridal dressYou may get a Halloween costume instead, but you are stuck with it! This Customer purchased a piece of clothing art from me custom designed. I have even gone above and beyond with this customer. I have handmade it to her specification on rush notice to make sure she had a dress in time for her event. She has then proceeded to use the dress and return it...

in hopes of a refund.  In my shop policies it says that I do not accept returns for custom items because they are unsellable. These policies are listed on the site that she purchased the dress. You may find these shop policies on my www.priscilladawn.etsy.com page.
I consulted with[redacted] as well about resolving this and they do not give refunds for custom pieces either. Stating that art pieces or handmade items they do not cover because they are custom designed specifically for the person and not for general audience.
She has proceeded to leave low feedback and complaints all over my business pages within 24 hours of the transaction. The dress was returned in used condition so I now am stuck with product that I cannot even resell. I can provide photos of that if need be. I have stopped all contact with this buyer because she is harassing me via email threatening me to destroy my business. I have explained to her that I have done everything she asked in the email. I have by no means admitted to having made a mistake like she mentioned in this complaint. In the emails you can see where I even offered her money to get a tailor if the length was too long as well as free product which she turned down. She did not supply me with the exact length measurements as asked and so I did my best to accommodate that from long distance and even offered to pay for a tailor for her. If you would like to see those emails I will send them ASAP. It is all in the writing. Please let me know.

I am very worried about this customers false accusations against my services. I do everything possible to keep my customers happy.
