Review: I attended Prism Career Institute until I had to go out on maternity leave. I returned to get a official copy of my transcript and was told I cant get it because ihave a balanced due. I told them inorder for me to pay off that balance I would need an official copy of my transcript to keep my job and always for me to continue my education and I was still told no. I was told if I put two payment on it I would be able to recieve an official copy of it and I did so and I havent receieved or heard anything back from anyone. Everytime I call I get the run around. Bad enough I was lied to when I first started that I would be able to finish with an associate degree and they were really only giving us diplomas. All I want is my official transcript so I can pay them off and finish my education because this is stopping me from doing that.Desired Settlement: I would like to have two offical Transcripts please.

Our records indicate [redacted] of [redacted] has a considerable outstanding balance with Prism Career Institute and as of the time of this response no payment has been made towards her student account balance, placing the students account in a default status. It is school policy that no official transcripts can be released while a student account is in default status or if a balance exists on the students ledger card, **. [redacted] fits booth categories.

However, school policy does permit that in hardship cases, that if a request is made in writing to the school, stating the reason for the need of the transcripts and name and address of employer etc., the requested transcripts or other documents may be issued directly to the organization of the students request. Again our records indicate no such request is on file.

My suggestion is that **. [redacted] supply us with a written request for her transcript to be sent to her employer along with the contact information and the matter may be rectified.

My name is [redacted] , I attended Prism Career Institute in 2011. I have been trying to obtain my transcript from Prism for over a year. I have been up to Prism several times and each time I have been given the run around. I left Prism because I was told that I wasnt going to receive a degree from them, which I was told in the begin of the program that I would. The reason I need to obtain my transcript is to continue my education towards a degree and for employment opportunity purposes. Transcrpit need to be sent to the following address: [redacted] Also I would like to have more information on where to continue payment on my balance because when I went up to prism know one could give me any information on it.
