My son was previously in River North Correctional, he is now in Keen Mountain CorrectionalI found out about Prison Connect thru my sonPrison Connect saves me a ton of money and I am so grateful that I have a way to get around the astronomical phone fees that the private companies chargeI pay about dollars a month to Prison Connect for a number that is local to which ever jail my son is inI give the local number to my son and he gives it to the company that has the monopoly on prison phones I pay dollars a month to the company that has the monopoly on the prison phones and when my son calls me using a local number...his call is directed to my cell phoneThat leaves me with a dollar a month phone bill because of Prison ConnectI love this company

I tried to get a number close to a Illinois prison, they kept giving me a number to a Indiana prison. I tried a dozen times over a month to correct this, never once did a rep ever call me, only email back and forth asking me what the problem was, finally I gave up and went to their competitor, PHONE DONKEY, that gave me immediate customer service, and a actual live person called me to follow up with my questions. Neverrrr again will I use prison connect with their horrible customer service.

Prison Connect is an awesome telephone service that will save you lots of money no doubt. I'll be honest, where you will definitely see the savings is if your loved one happens to sadly be in PRISON verses COUNTY JAIL. The cost of a phone call from a COUNTY facility using the GTL Connect Services, I've checked out is still the same cost of $3.45 + the $.25 Tax charge and lets not forget the sometimes charge of $.85 for the 3rd Party Financial Transaction Fee ... a total of $3.70 to $4.55 for a 15 minute call ! Now, charges for a phone call from California Dept of Corrections in Soledad, is only $2.03 + the $.29 taxes charged comes to a awesome charge of only $2.32 total for 15 minutes ... Note, That phone call will be even lower when you have a Prison Connect account. Wait ... In fact I have a friend who does have an account with Prison Connect, her calls for 15 minutes to the Calif Dept of Corrections $1.54 total ! Can't complain about a $1.54 phone call Right ? - $1.44 + the $0.10 tax, That's it.

All Phone Services for Inmates regardless, need to consider keeping Inmates, their family and friends in touch with each other as that contact makes a world of difference for all parties involved. Until these companies have walked in our shoes, they will never understand or feel what we feel. Sadly, all they appear to consider is how much of our hard working money they can line their pockets with. I was given a phone number that doesn't work,and when I try and fill out the support form and submit it,it keeps telling me that I have entered the wrong number so I can't submit it.What do I do?I can't even cancel somebody help.

Great deal! I would highly recommend! Saves a lot of money, screw th government all they do is rip us off!

I pay 25 dollars a month to the company that has the monopoly on the prison phones and when my son calls me using a local number...his call is directed to my cell phone. That leaves me with a 30 dollar a month phone bill because of Prison Connect. I love this company

My girlfriend had the unfortunate experience of going to jail recently. Calling out from jail can be expensive. Until I have set up an account with PrisonConnect, a company called Securus was gauging me at $9.99/call, although it is much cheaper once you have set up an account. For me it was like $2-$3/call.

Good business, friendly and quick support + only $4,99/month with no limits. It worth the cost

I found PrisonConnect when my boyfriend got sent to Moore Haven and I was trying to look up how to set up his phone account. What they claim to do is to issue you a phone number that is local to the prison for something like $4,99 a month and allow you unlimited minutes. You still need to put money on the phone in order to get calls, but it helped me to drop the cost of each call drops from 15.00 per call to a flat $1.75. I'm currently paying about $5 per 30 minute call from my boyfriend.

Review: This company is harassing me with text messages to pay them money. I can't get them to leave me alone. Day after day the same text, that I need to pay $4.99. I tried finding an email or phone number that they would answer in order to tell them to take my phone number out of their system but nothing works. I have tried texting back but it doesn't work. The number on the text message is [redacted]. Please make them stop or get me in touch with them so I can make them stop.Desired Settlement: I want them to remove my number from their system and leave me alone forever.
