November 25, Mrs [redacted] brought her Toyota 4Runner for us to diagnose a check engine light on, Transmission fluid was very dirty and burnt due to lack of maintenance so we suggested performing a transmission fluid flush to service transmission first to see if that would take care of her transmission codes, unfortunately due to lack of service it did not so We diagnosed it to bad transmission valve body and found a bulletin from Toyota that when this problem occurred they also recommend performing a computer software update (bulletin # [redacted] ) Our quote to fix this problem was approximately $2, Customer had some transmission repairs done in August of at Premier Transmission in Tomball, a very reputable shop that we do recommend, so she said that she was going to take it to them to have them look at it for her (Pristal's Invoice #***.Jan 5, the vehicle was toed in to our shop by AAA because of a bad battery, when we called her to let her know that it was ready she told us to go ahead and fix her transmission that she never took it back to Premier, she approved the repairs by phone and said she was going to London and we could take our time to fix it that she was in no hurry So we talked to Joe at Premier to see if maybe it was something he could help with since they had worked on that transmission over four years ago, Hoe said that hes warranty is Year or 12k Miles like most shops but he would be happy to look at for us.After he had transmission apart they found that the torque converter had come apart, metal debris had damaged valve body and he had to order partsHe gave us a quote for $2,drive outWe tried calling Mrs [redacted] and Her Husband to let them know what was going on, left messages and we could not get in contact with either one Days had passed and Premier Transmission was calling us to get approval, Since Premier's estimate was lower than our estimate we went ahead with the repairs, but parts where not available right away and it was going to take longer than usual, when Mrs [redacted] got back from London she called and the vehicle was still not ready because of the parts issue, as soon as the valve body arrived and they got it ready it was delivered to us, I personally wanted to make sure we were not going to have any other issues with the Check engine light test drove it to Houston and back, I put $of gas in it and did not charged her for that either. When Mrs [redacted] showed up to pick up her vehicle said she was not going to pay for the transmission repairs until she had a good explanation of the work that was performed and she would only pay us for the battery replacement, at the time we had a lobby full of customers and we did not want a major argument so we did released the vehicle with an agreement that she would come back and pay what she said the think it was fair, We've been working on this community for years, we are a family owned and operated business that takes care of our customers and all we ask for is for her to be fair and pay us what she owes us!!!!We talked to Premiere Transmissions and they willingly gave us a major discount since they had worked on this transmission back in 2010, so with this discount her price is $less than our quote that she had approved!!!If She is not happy with that all we ask is for her to bring the vehicle back, we put her old parts on it and take our new parts back and she will not owe us anything, we will be more than happy to do that, but right now she is actually performing a theft to our shop because we had to pay for the repair at Premier Transmissions!!

It is obvious that This customer is not wanting to pay for the repairs that we performed on the vehicle after she clearly approved it and that is ok with us, she does not have to pay what she owes us all we ask is for our parts back! We have a great community that we work for here in Tomball and 90% of our business is from customer refferals, this is a small great community and if we were to run a unethical business we would not have any customersWe've been with Revdex.com for almost years and have never had any kind of complaint that we perform unauthorized servicesI have no more time to waiste on this customer if she is willing to come back so we can get our new expensive parts back and put her old parts back on than thats ok with us if she does not want to do that than let it be and let her conciense handdle itI will not go any further with this if she does not want to pay thats fine us, all I ask is that this does not go against us on our record with Revdex.com, if it does go against us than I will take legal accion against her and I will cancel my membership from Revdex.com
