Excellent Experience!!! I purchase my BMW with Private Collection Motors. I am located in the mid west, so calling from thousands of miles away I was a bit hesitate to purchase. That all changed once I called PCM, they were very helpful. I was working with Ashley, she was awesome , being miles away, and being really picky, She made me feel so comfortable, she sent me pictures of anything I needed to know about my BMW. I know these are used cars and didn't expect perfect. But still wanted honest description of the car. Sure enough, when I received the vehicle, I went over the car with a fine comb. As expected, it was EXACTLY as described!!! I am extremely please with my purchase!! I will recommend all my family and friends to PCM. Thanks guys again Respectfully [redacted]

favorable outcome. As the owner of Private Collection Motors, pride myself in hand selecting and being particular in choosing previously owned exotic and luxury vehicles to sell. I take every action and make every effort to assure the quality of the vehicles I am presenting in the showroom to our customers. Prior to being displayed and prepared for sale, all vehicles are inspected by an outside and independent Factory Authorized Service Facility and processed through a Carfax vehicle history report. Therefore, all vehicles offered at Private Collection Motors meet reasonable quality standards before being displayed for sale.We respect and appreciate all of our Customers, value their opinion, and make every effort to assure we are providing quality products and service. However, in an effort to clarify the assertions made in the above referenced complaint, we offer the facts of the particular transaction supported by written evidence. In the complaint the customer claims that: 1. The vehicle was not running when it was shipped; 2. The employees of Private Collection Motors lied regarding the vehicle having passed Smog inspection in California; 3. Private Collection Motors committed fraud with respects to the vehicle registration and that employees purposefully delayed transfer of title; 4. The service warranty did not cover anything; and 5. The customer did not have an opportunity to Speak to the owner regarding coverage for the alleged costs of repair. These claims are unjustified given the following details and information: November 24, 2014 Page 21. THE VEHICLE WASSHIPPED IN RUNNING CONDITIONThe customer's statements indicate that the Porsche Cayenne Turbo purchased from Private Collection Motors was not running when it was delivered to her in Pittsburg, PA.Although Private Collection Motors has a showroom to display available luxury vehicles, many of our out of state Customers communicate with us through the internet. As part of our customer service we deal with an independent transportation company to deliver vehicles to our customers. These companies provide a safe and protected transportation to only running vehicles and will not transport otherwise. Attached is the Bill of Lading signed by the customer guaranteeing that her vehicle was running. (Attachment B)Furthermore, as standard process we provide our customers with a complete CARFAX report, in order to verify that the vehicle being purchased has no problem or issues reported, prior to being sold to a Customer. In this instance, the customer, was provided this documentation and signed the report provided at the time of purchase, indicating the vehicle had no issues. (Attachment C)In addition, all of our vehicles undergo a complete retail inspection which is performed by a private Service facility prior to the sale. This includes but is not limited to,In reference to the vehicle purchased by the customer, the vehicle, was examined by, a third party, independent service facility, where it was put under retail inspection. Under this inspection, it was determined that the vehicle was in need of, a break pad kit and brake pad sensor. Following a request by Private Collection Motors, the service facility proceeded to perform all the discovered repairs on the vehicle. Attached you will find a service statement and invoice for the repairs. (Attachment D)2. A SMOG CHECK VEHICLE INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED AND THE VEHICLE PASSED SMOG AND EMISSION INSPECTION, CONFORMING TO THE LAWS IN CALIFORNIAThe customer displays a concern and raises doubt as to the vehicle having passed smog in California and feels that we may have lied as to its validity. As per California state regulations and the Department of Motor Vehicles, "If the vehicle is over 4 years old, it is the seller's responsibility to provide proof of a current smog certification unless the smog certification was submitted within the past 90 days."As a licensed dealer and certified for resale. We are obligated to complete Smog inspection of all vehicles older than 2013. The customer's vehicle is a 2009 Porsche Cayenne, therefore we complied with California state regulations and obtained a passing Smog Check Vehicle inspection Report. Attached is the smog report. (Attachment E)3. FRAUD WAS NOT COMMITTED ASTRANSFER OF TITLE WAS COMPLETED BY OUT OF STATE TITLE SERVICE IN A TIMELY AND REASONABLE MANNER. November 24, 2014 Page 3The Customer States a concern regarding an intentional and possible fraudulent delay in the registration of title. In transactions such as these, where the customer is an out of state resident and financing the vehicle, our procedure is to use an out of state registration company to transfer title and place the lien holder on new title. The submission to the out of state title service was submitted two days after the sale of the vehicle. The completion of the change in title occurred within two weeks of submission. (AttachmentF)Weapologize that this waiting time proved to be unsatisfactory to the customer. However, it is Customary for out of State transactions. Moreover, this delay in change of title was in no way fraudulent or with the intent to harm our customer. Nevertheless, after an evaluation of the transaction records we agree with the customer that the change of title could have occurred sooner. A delay was caused in processing time Stemming from a discrepancy in the customer's legal name and the name that was used in the purchasing documents. I would again like to apologize for any miscommunication the Customer received from our staff.4. PRIVATE COLLECTION MOTORS DOES NOT DETERMINE COVERAGE UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AS THE POLICY ISADMINISTERED BY AN INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY COMPANY; THE POLICY WAS CANCELED PURSUANT TO THE CUSTOMERS REOUEST; AND THE CUSTOMER RECEIVED AREFUND ON THE FUNDS PAID FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTYThe Customer alleges that the extended warranty she purchased did not cover anything.AS part of a Service to our Customers, we provide the option of obtaining an extended warranty at the time of purchase of a vehicle. The extended warranties are provided by a third party, an independent company. Most of our customers find this warranty to be very beneficial given the luxury of our vehicles. It is however, a decision of the private company, a third party, which items will be covered by the extended warranty. It is our understanding that most items are covered but ordinary maintenance issues of a vehicle are not cover. In this instance, the customer felt that the warranty did not cover the vehicle to her satisfaction therefore, we complied with the customer's request to cancel the policy and provided a refund on the funds paid for the extended warranty. Enclosed you will find; documentation of the cancelation with the amount refunded by the warranty company (Attachment G) and the amount refunded by Private Collection Motors (Attachment H).5. THE CUSTOMER DID IN FACT, PERSONALLY SPEAK WITH THE OWNER OF PRIVATE COLLECTION MOTORSThe customer states she did not have an opportunity to speak to the owner and demonstrates frustration with other employees. In the customer's statements of the problem, the customer references speaking to a man who authorized to cover $1,000 in repairs. As the owner of Private Collection Motors, l, spoke with the customer following a pattern of dissatisfaction. A good faith effort was attempted on my part and an offer was

Most people have some fears and doubts about buying a car from ANY car dealer, so buying one from a mostly internet-based dealership probably scares you to death! Well...knock it off. Seriously. These guys just...ROCK!

I guess I'm a little more daring than some, because I felt fairly comfortable with the idea to begin with. Then after talking on the phone with Nick for about 2 minutes, it made me realize I was definitely in the right place. Bought a Tesla S coupe and the buying experience was phenomenal.

I don't even know where to start about Nick. One of the most caring customer service oriented guys you will ever have the pleasure to buy a car from. He is seriously the best and most honest person I have EVER dealt with when buying a car. Now THAT is saying something! I WISH I COULD STEAL HIM FOR MY BUSINESS! He's right on top of everything and he is in constant contact making sure every single detail is being handled. When he says he's going to do something...it's done. He has a wealth of knowledge and leaves nothing to chance. Before the transport truck loaded the car for delivery to GA he even did a walk-around video and sent it to me. The guy...is good. Like I said, his attitude about customer service is truly remarkable. He even told me "When the car is delivered I don't care WHAT time it is...even midnight...call me and tell me if you are happy with it."

The Tesla arrived and EVERYTHING was just as described and promised. I'm LOVING this car and the experience with Private Collection Motors was BEYOND a 10+. I know. I Know. Hard to believe. Especially if you've had some of the experiences with "car salesmen" like I've had. I have nothing but great things to say about PCM and of course...Nick. From my buying experience, I would recommend them to anyone. And the Tesla is pretty rockin' too!

Review: My wife and I purchased a [redacted] out of town from Private Collection Motors, California. We saw the vehicle on their website and were pleased with the pictures. We also found out that [redacted] had recently serviced it, so we completed the paperwork for financing on Aug 18th, and the car was shipped on Aug 29th and arrived on Sunday, Sept 7th. Private Collection Motors is handling the cost for our tags and taxes, which was financed with the purchase price through an independent company. When the car was MD state inspected on Sept 11th, the inspection revealed that the vehicle has a leaking front strut on the RH side, and consequently, both sides (LH and RH) would have to be replaced to pass inspection. Well, [redacted] struts cost $2,500.00 a piece, which includes labor, and must be ordered from [redacted] so we're talking about $5,000.00 out of pocket and the car has not even been registered with the state for tags yet!. While I understand that the car was sold "as-is", this is just totally unexpected and devastating to my wife to have purchased a car from a dealer with such rave reviews for their cars and service. I contacted the sales agent Judy on Thursday, Sept 11th, and sent her all documentation related to the inspection report and the [redacted] part estimate from [redacted] I asked her what could they do to help. The response that I get is, "did you get my email, or I'll call you back in 5 to 10 minutes". I got the same response yesterday, Sept 15th, and I left another message today and thus far, have not received a response back.Desired Settlement: My wife and I feel that the very least Private Collection Motors, Inc. could do to show good faith and good will, is to pay us for just the cost of one (1) strut, i.e., $2,000.00, (which doesn't include the labor), and would pick up labor costs along with the cost of the additional strut for $2,000.00 and labor of $500. We think this would be an equitable and satisfactory outcome considering the fact we did not get ANY DISCOUNT ON THE CAR, even though I requested it, and not knowing its current problems. Thus, we are asking for the amount of $2,000.00 to be refunded from the sale price to offset needed repairs to get the vehicle inspection approved and the car registered with the state for tags.

Review: On 14 Feb 2014 I purchased a 2009 BMW 750LI from Private Collection Motors Inc in California. On multiple occations I asked them if the vehicle had and items that I need to be made aware of or anything that was broken. They assured me the vehicle had no issues and had just returned from the BMW dealership and was good to go. When we received the vehicle from shipment on 18 Feb 2014 and during the delivery inspection my wife addressed the fact the the driverside rear seat monitor was broken and shattered. She addressed it with the shipper who stated it was broken when he picked it up and he was not responsible for issue inside the vehicle, just outside damage. My wife received the vehicle and proceeded to contact the Seller. They were elusive at returning any calls. I finally from my deployed location sent them an e-mail asking why they did not declare the issues and they stated that it must have been the shipper. After further talking with them they were unable to state without a doubt that the montior was not damaged when it shipped. We have since that date tried to get them to provide a new monitor and they have not returned our calls or our e-mails. During this time is was also discovered that they withheld information that was provided to them from the dealership that the main wireing harness has serious corrosion and needed to be replaced. They refused the repairs and asked them to return the vehicle. When they shipped the vehicle to us they provided us 3 pages of a 4 page invoice from the dealership and it just so happen all the recommendations that the dealer made were on page 4 and it is also where the dealership stated that the work was critical in the operation of the vehicle. We only found this by contacting the dealer that made the repairs and requested a copy of the invoice. The deliberate cover up of these issues leads me to believe the were hiding the issues until after purchase. This is an inexcusable act by any dealership and needs to be corrected.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to provide a new monitor for the rear drivers seat and also since they were unresponsive to the request for the montior to be replaced I would like for them to also pay for the repairs of the wiring harness. They were well aware of the issue when they sold the vehicle and failed to provide this critical information to the buyer. The as is statement states that they can't be held liable for any other issues that arrise after the sale that they were unaware of.
