I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I called and called on various occasions only to be told the lady handing and processing my case wasn't available. This put us later up almost to school starting and didn't allow us to get into a scholarship.Simply put the process was so slow and without communication between them and me in a timely process. I called, but most of the time there wasn't an answer, and when someone did answer it was a pass along message.This didn't help me expedite the process and put us too late in the round of funding for a scholarship at a Catholic School. Sure they have their notes, but I called and called without a return call at all. Yes no return call with all the messages I left. No return emails either. I am still requesting a refund of the $27.00 due to lack of following up with me.

Private School Aid Service is engaged by contract with schools to process financial aid applications utilizing a very specific set of documentation guidelines. Throughout the application process with [redacted], each correspondence uncovered additional items that were required to process his...
application. Once all of the documentation for the application was received, the application was processed and the results were sent to the school to which he was applying. There are extensive notes in [redacted]'s file regarding communication, both email and telephone. Private School Aid Service performed the work that it was contracted to do, therefore, we are not honoring the request for a refund of the processing fee. Sincerely,Kate B[redacted]

As additional documentation was received, it was uncovered that there was additional documentation required based on information extracted from what was submitted. In each case, the family was notified of the additional requirements and the application was subsequently processed for the program to which they were applying. In no way does PSAS attempt to make the process difficult for any family nor do we work in conjunction with Catholic schools to ensure a family is not approved. PSAS follows the protocol for family income documentation so that the results are complete and unbiased when they are reported to the contracting entity. In summary, PSAS worked with the [redacted] family to complete their application with all of the required documentation as was outlined on the original application that was submitted.
