Again, the churting problem is not an installation problem We had contacted our salesman to be in touch with customer, explain the problem, and take care of, and had the understanding it had been satisfied As far as the block, the 1/2” overhang is not required We have the literature from our block supplier showing installation procedure of laying the block with an overhang, or laying the block with no overhang The customer did not request any overhang at any time I also am not sure what gluing problem he is talking about I’ve been in this business for over years, I do know how to properly glue on a cap Our customer will be contacted to satisfy thisRespectfully Submitted, [redacted]

In we installed Rammer’s driveway In he called complaining about some chipping This chipping has nothing to do with the workmanship or installation of the cement, so we asked a salesman to go out and take a look The salesman gave him some sealant, which Rammer applied himself We didn’t hear anything back until spring of He was looking to have his driveway replaced and was asking for our Certificate of Insurance, which our agent said it didn’t make sense to hand out to someone whose project is four years old, so we didn’t The salesman from MCC and Don agreed that this occurrence happens from Northern exposure and salt being applied to the concrete The MCC salesman and Don have come up with an agreement that we feel is a fair solution to help him, which our attorney is working with Rammer’s attorney to try and settle We have been in this business for over years and customer satisfaction is the utmost important to us We would prefer to move forward with this, working with our attorneys, as we are already in process with themRespectfully Submitted, [redacted] President, Buyze & VerVelde Concrete

1/years ago we were contracted out to pour his driveway, along with a brick stenciled sidewalk and steps The problem with the driveway that he is referring to is caused by churt pops - nothing to do with installation of the concrete or workmanship of our employees Churt pops is a type of stone that cannot be totally eliminated We did use low churt concrete, as we typically do I did contact my salesman from the concrete company concerning this problem The salesman came out to his property and explained the churt problem to him and gave him gallons of sealer at no charge All was satisfied and invoice was paid in full.A couple months later we were contracted out to build a retaining wall by his driveway; along with that, he asked for a circle be built for his flag He ended up not liking the way the circle looked, so asked me to redo it into a square Being it was his original request to have the circle and now changing it to a square, I agreed to redo it, and told him I would only charge him for 1/of the cost, and that I would pick up the other 1/- he agreed Again, all was satisfied and invoices paid The following spring I received a call that things were shifting and stones were loose I did at that time, go back, re-leveled the wall and reglued the cap stones This was all done at no charge With the type of stone product that we installed, glue it not used to hold them together Only on the cap stones is glue used, which I did I also did use 1/2-yards of Limestone for a base - which the wall was, or is, about 60' x 1' for width of block. The call I received this year was NOT asking me to fix it He stated he was getting someone else to fix it and that the estimate was for $and was wondering if I would pay 1/the cost Then, after the project was completed he called and said the cost was $1000, and wanted me to pay 1/ We haven't talked since, so I am not sure where the $came from.I don't feel I owe him any money The repair he had done this year, I wasn't even aware of a problem until he called saying he had somebody else coming to repair the wall and was looking for 1/of the cost be covered.Respectfully Submitted, [redacted] Owner, Buyze & VerVelde Concrete
