Prive Salon

On Wednesday, February 19, *** was scheduled for a 12:45 pm Full Highlight service with our Artistic Director, Jamie. She arrived to her appointment on time and Jamie, an employee of almost 14 years, began to consult with *** about what color service she was looking for. They decided on a Full Ombre service and also decided to add an additional haircut service with Raul right her color was complete. Jamie and Raul went over both prices before beginning either service. When *** came to check out at the front desk with Ashley S, our internet was down. The entire shopping plaza had no internet and Spectrum was notified and working on it. Our protocol was to get the credit card information of the client and charge the card when our system was up. We also got emails of all clients that day so they would receive an invoice email once the payment was made. We have a copy of ***'s service ticket that day where she read her card number to Ashley S, who wrote it on her ticket. *** said to add a 15% tip to each service provider, Jamie and Raul, and this was also written down next to her card number. *** left the salon, content with all of her services. On March 22, the Salon Manager, Joshua B ran the payment in the morning. The payment was accepted. A few days later, our salon call center received a call from *** to have a manager reach out to her. Joshua B called her that same day and she asked for the "inconvenience" of the internet being down, to refund her Tip payment for Jamie and Raul of $65.25 total. He told her that he would work on refunding a tip, our system does not normally allow for that but he would reach out for a solution. an additional attempt was made to contact *** but when answering she said she "could not talk right now. I will call you back". We did not hear back from her after that. *** never once handed any of the front desk receptionists any cash of any kind. *** came in for only a color service that was booked on the phone, the haircut was later added once she arrived. She told Jamie she was/is a student at UCF, Jamie specifically went over pricing before she began since *** asked for a higher-priced service than originally booked for. *** never received a receipt of payment from the "cash" she paid because she never paid cash or card on that actual day. Every client receives a receipt regardless of payment method, which is why we have never run into this situation before. Unfortunately, ***'s claim are false in all aspects and can be verified by our in salon camera system.
