Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:My policy ended after a year which is what I agreed toI recieved a letter from cig for renewal but opted to find rates at one third the premium I payed through PRLYour policies are solely made to continue your greedy consumption which is bankrupting innocent familiesMy original contact was to [redacted] who claimed they couldnt find my policiesNow [redacted] and [redacted] are trying to collect for a homeowners policy which I will not renew and am already insured forAll of this is highly immoralSincerely, [redacted]

Please make sure that we receive the policy release/cancellation form for the homeowner's insurance that will cancel the policy back to the renewal date of October 13, It is attached to this correspondence, just in case you do not have the first copy that we sent to you earlier It should be sent via email or regular mail to our office at PRL InsuranceWe will forward to ***There will be no earned premium as long as you return the form with both signatures by November 12, 2015, per company guidelinesOtherwise if not received by that time, you will then be required to show proof that you replaced the coverage back to October 13, 2015, or risk having a month of premium still duePlease just return the signed form with both of your signatures

*** called our office on October 14, to inform us that he was cancelling his insurance policies written with ***, through our agencyHis policy automatically renewed for another term on October 13, Since he was on automatic payments (EFT) out of his checking account, which goes on
until the company is informed to stop, the monthly withdrawal was madeThe withdrawal occurred on October 13, the day before he calledSee attached form, signed by him when we initially set up his account on EFT, acknowledging that withdrawals will be ongoing until they receive adequate notice to stopIn this case, he called the day after the withdrawal was made, which made stopping that withdrawal impossible
Once our agency received his verbal request to cancel, we immediately told *** not to make any further withdrawals However, by our agency procedures, the refund could be processed and the cancellation be made until we had his signature on a policy release form (cancellation request), which releases the carrier and us from all liability as of the effective date requested on the form. We received the signed form in our office on October which we immediately forwarded to ***The refund of $was then processed by them and mailed out on October 26,
As for his claim to receive $240, I am not sure why that would be requested of ***I am assuming that he is expecting them to pay bank fees charged to him on account of this misunderstandingHowever, again, he signed a form in the beginning that he understood that he would have to notify them in writing of his desire to cancel the EFT arrangement, and in a timely fashionThat is not the day after the withdrawal occurredThe withdrawal was for $and that was what they returnedWe are only doing our job and are sorry for the misunderstanding
