Revdex.com:
The last contact I received from Pro-Air was over 6 months ago.  This claim was filed so I could get him back in to rectify an unsafe situation he left in my home.   After Pro-Air put in the basement system they did not seat the pan correctly for the air conditioning.  This caused a flood in my basement when I used it and didn't run down to check for water (who would, these are supposed to work).  This issue was the pan was not correctly seated when his guys put the unit in.  The new sheet metal work had to be undone and I had to hold the pan up while he put in temporary screws and brackets to get it to tilt in the correct direction.  He said he would fix it properly the next time he came back.  That next time he covered everything back up and put in a new piece.  The next time he came back was after I had a water heater replaced.  When the inspector saw his work he let me know the flue was assembled upside down and that it leaks carbon monoxide that way.  Pro-Air did fix the flue but never came back and never pulled the permits.   Just under a month ago I had to call in another HVAC specialist and pay him to complete the work properly and pull the permits.  This additional expense cost me $675 dollars (bill available to the Revdex.com by request). This expense is in addition to the expense for the floors. The new HVAC company came in and inspected both units he had done and had to make additional repairs.  The upstairs attic system was not properly cemented into the chimney and there was a hole that needed to be patched.  Screws were missing as well (3 per each flue section where they join).  Downstairs the electric on the side was left open, screws were missing, etc. But today with the humidity I once again have water dripping down inside my heating system and all over my floor. I am hiring back the last company to come in and fix the leak.  I do not want Pro-Air back at my residence again.  This is the second flood I've had and once again there is damage to the basement and to my personal items I store there.  I'm shocked that Alan reached out to me 6 months after he disappeared and I believe he's only doing this to try and fix his accreditation and not to fulfill his contract with me.  As others have written about him, his work is sloppy and he blames all the mistakes on his workers.  I would like to see his HVAC license as all I've been able to find is a sheet metal license. His rating should stand as it is as I will now have to pay again to take apart the unit and fix the pan.  This work has gone way past the $1000 dollars he had me hold back and continues to grow.  That's not counting all the damage to my home and personal items.I would not hire him again, would not recommend him to anyone, and hope whoever else reads this takes the warning to stay away.

I read the complaints from [redacted] and I sent him a text stating I would be willing to come back and resolve the outstanding issues.  I am awaiting his reply. As far as I can recall,  as soon as the damage was made to the floor,  I approached [redacted] and told him to hold back $1000 and...

that the money should go towards the repair of the floor.  I do not recall being asked to call  in a flooring company.  I would be happy to arrange for a company to repair the damage.   As for the permit,  I will get this resolved if [redacted] is agreeable.  I would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.   Tell us why here...
