Once we received the information from the insurance company it turned out that she only carried an ACV policy, which she did not mention in the beginning, on the roof which means that the insurance company will not pay for the depreciation for the work preformed and does not pay fair market valueWe spoke to Mrs [redacted] and informed her about her insurance coverage and agreed to replace her roof only and that if she wanted the upgraded shingles there would be an additional charge, she agreed and signed the work scopeWe informed her that we could do the other work on her property but she would have to pay additional costs due to her insurance coverage, which she declinedWe received her down payment for the materials and completed the roof replacement on her houseOnce the work was completed we submitted her final invoice with the balance dueWe spoke with her over the phone and went over the numbers and she informed us that she would send in a check for the balance due the next dayWe received a call from her property manager informing us that she will not be sending us her final payment unless all other work was completed and that the matter should be closedDue to her refusal to pay the balance due for the work completed we placed a lean on the property and had our lawyers contact her in order to get it resolvedI have attached a copy of her insurance summery and her work scope that she signedIf any additional information is needed you can reach me at [redacted] .Thank you, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The point here is the way your company does businessIts not ethicalYou started working on my house on Aug 12, and your invoice with all your fees is dated on September 8, How you go with your clients and charges after you start working? I will pay $which was that I was agreed onIf this is not sufficient to you, please go ahead and send collections or we can go to court to settle all of this so they can know how your business operatesI don't know contractors but I am sure the court understands better than meThis is my last message to youIf you are willing to settle with the amount I just mentioned, mail me an invoice or I will see you in courtThank you

The issue here is their work ethics. They approach people who doesn't understand insurance nor contractors and promise work that was done. [redacted] is part of Pro America and they have to be liable for his work ethics and the way he brings them business. He took advantage first that I don't understand contractors then insurance . [redacted] forced me to sign the  second contract with those upgrades if not signed they would not start the job. He never told me the total amount the job would be, how can someone predict how much a job would cost if I am not in the business. Pro America has already received $6925.30 between Geico and myself. They never gave me a proposal with an estimate, why are they trying to collect $11,500 from me? Where this number came from? [redacted] never told me anything , just sign the documents and they suppose to take care of everything and I should pay my deductible only. I have never refused to pay however I know they are taking advantage. I need a list of optimized items how they come up with $11,500 plus they have to remove all those interest fees. Its Pro America's liability for having those unethical employees. They have to absorb those expenses and serve the community with integrity. Why [redacted] did not explain all terms and conditions of that contract? If he would, he would not have customers. I just authorized to repair the roof. The contractor should know in advance how much it should be, why now more? This has to settle with the legal correct amount.
