We have been out several times because of the leak that is getting into the customers garage atticThe last time there we did remove siding and reworked the area on the roof where we thought the leak may be coming fromI would like to be there

I just had a Home Depot roofers come to give me a assessment of the problem today 12/26/The person climbed on the roof and stayed up there more than half hour and told me its the flashing ,not siding , I'm getting my third assessment next week, Richard from ProBuild restoration thinks caulk is the answer for this problemhomeDepot roofers think the shingles need to be pulled off and flashing replaced to correct the problem that ProBuild Restoration causedthe money that my insurance paid these contractors over grand , the flashing should have been replaced, thay got paid for that.thanks

Good afternoon *** I'm *** , I had a complaint with ProBuild restorations , they have not fixed my roof yet He if you remember said that it was my siding, but I had separate contractors come and found other that thay never replaced this pieces that go by the seems called flashingsHe claimed to come back in March , it's been a nightmare , with denying that they did something wrong, not showing up, showing up on prepared,and arguing with my wifeI don't trust this companyThanks for your help

I went out and made a repair requested by the homeowner a few weeks agoI installed the flashing that their inspectors claimed was the problemWe were not paid to do so by the insurance company to replace the flashingI have tried to explain to the homeowners that it is my opinion that the water leaking into their garage is a result of a leak around the window above the roof lineThey do not want to hear that it could be something other than the roofI showed them pictures of damage to the sheathing on the wall below the windows that has occurred over several yearsThe inspectors they sent out never removed any siding above where the water was coming into the garageIf they had, they may have changed their opinionWhen I left it was agreed that we would wait til spring to see if there is any more leaking into the garageThere are concerns of theirs that are not related to the roof such as the vent in the bathroom that occasionally dripsThat is due to the original construction of the home where the builder vented the bathroom vents on the second story into the attic spaceThis causes condensation in the attic space that can freeze in the winter and then melt when it warms causing the dripWe have done everything we can up to this point and will continue to take care of anything that is our responsibility

Since it was a small repair and not a full siding job we offer only a year warranty so the problem would not be covered. In addition, we are in the process of closing down the businessRich ***
