Pro Deck Doctors

Review: I had Pro Deck Doctors stain my deck in summer of 2010. There was a 5 year warranty with the staining. The stain had faded considerably over the past two years. This summer, I have contacted the sales person, [redacted] and he told me that the warranty cannot be honored because we had such a bad winter. The contract that I have does not have any weather restrictions. [redacted] told me that the warranty would be void if the following conditions occur. If it is too hot or too cold, or if my deck is under too much OR not enough direct sunlight daily. So basically, if it is too cold, too hot or my deck is in the sun too much or not enough, the warranty was going to be avoided. In Pittsburgh, I don't see how this warranty could ever be honored. When I asked him to only re-stain the areas that needed, it (which was about 25% of the entire original job), he sent me a new contract charging me 74% of the original quote.Desired Settlement: I would like refund on my staining since the warranty will not be honored. I feel this is a breach of contract.
