Pro-Finish

John does excellent work in the time frame that he specifies and on budget. This is the second time I have used him and will continue too.

Pro-Finish has done a wonderful job in completing our base boards, window casings, door installation, and cabinets along with other custom shelving that was designed and installed for us. Pro-Finish makes it a point to stay on schedule and is very punctual. We highly recommend them for any type of custom wood work or installation.

My job was relatively minor: trim the bottom of closet doors. [redacted] acted as if it were the most important job of the day! He did it RIGHT. Excellent work. [redacted] wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied, and I was and am. Very much so. This is the guy to go to for your finish work, no matter how large or small the project. Very professional.

Pro-Finish replaced the stairs going from the 2nd to 3rd floor of our house with a custom oak and iron rail design, and replaced all of the trim and casing on our second floor. This includes stain and lacquer work for the trim and railing.

We got 3 estimates for this work. John clearly had a vision for how he thought our railings should look and was very quick to show off his past work. The other 2 contractors didn't have much to show off, and just didn't do as good of a job communicating as John did. John's professionalism and pride in his past work is ultimately what sold us.

We made our deposit and job began on the agreed-upon start date, about 3 weeks after we made our deposit. The work basically went exactly as we planned and agreed upon in terms of schedule, materials, build, etc. No major surprises. John and his partner are both craftsmen, and took their time fabricating and installing the new stairs, railings, and trim. I am 100% satisfied with the results.

John [redacted] did the finish carpentry in our new home and the workmanship is
superb..he is very meticulous with his work and a pleasure to work with.
We also had him add some shelves after the house was finished and he did this
promptly and at a very reasonable price. We would have no problem recommending
him to a potential client.

This is a 5 star company that met or exceeded our high expectations in all facets of our project. John and Jim were simply outstanding ... punctual, efficient, personable, hard working, and very professional. They even did a number of small tweaks that appeared during their work that were not included in the original estimate and still finished several days ahead of time. John and Jim thoroughly enjoy their work and it shows up through the extra time and effort they spend to make things look excellent. We have already asked them to do another project in the summer. We highly recommend Pro-Finish.

John delivers a great quality product and works efficiently and smartly. He is personable, generous, and ultimately interested in pleasing the customer. He is flexible and sensitive to the customer's space and schedule. His pricing reflects a premium product, but he was very good about working to a budget and providing lower-cost approaches. He is also extremely responsive and communicative. I highly recommend him!

I contacted John with Pro-Finish to build two sets of built-in bookcases around my fireplace. I was very particular about how I wanted these to look. John made the process extremely easy, and was very accommodating with my requests. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with the finished product! They came out beautiful and are exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend John to anyone who needs carpentry work done. He is very detailed, prompt, professional and did the work himself!
