Pro Line Roofing & Chimney Corp. Reviews (2)

Review: In May of 2011, My husband, [redacted], and I had a new roof installed over our house and garage which cost $11,300.

In the spring of 2012, I noticed that the roof in the garage was wet. I called Pro-Line Roofing & Chimneys and advised them of this. They asked me to send them a copy of the Contract and Single Roof Replacement invoices. I did this and requested that it be inspected. It was inspected and they said they did not see anything.

My husband, [redacted], passed away on June **, 2012.

In August, after a heavy rain storm, I went into my garage to take out an item in my freezer and when I opened the freezer door, water came rushing down off the top of the refrigerator.

I contacted Pro-Line Roofing & Chimneys and they again asked me to send them a copy of the Contract and Single Roof Replacement invoices, which I did. I again requested an inspection. On Saturday, August **, 2013, two guys came around 2:00 to inspect the garage roof. After the inspection, I was told that a section of the garage roof had to be replaced and that it would cost $3,800. I was told to speak with [redacted]. I believe he is [redacted]. I called on Monday, August 19, 2013, to speak with [redacted] and was told to leave a message.

[redacted] called back and said that it would cost an additional $3,800.00 to repair the leaking roof that was only installed two years ago. I informed him that the whole roof was replaced and he suggested that I had the roof over the garage replaced by someone else. He is not an honorable businessman and I feel like me and my husband were taken advantage of because we are senior citizens. I should not have to pay for a repair on a new roof.

On September *, 2013, I had to have D&S Roofing Corp. replace a section of my garage roof due to improper installation which caused water penetration which cost me $3,800.Desired Settlement: I should not have to pay for a repair of a new roof that cost me an additional $3,800. In less than a year the roof was leaking.

I want a refund of $3,800. in a certified check or cash.

Review: My husband and I initially contacted the company to fix our leaking roof. They arrived that day evaluated the roof, supposedly fixed the leaks and proposed a more permanent remedy to the leaking problem by installing a silicone base roofing system to our roof. A contract was signed, the work was completed and fully paid a few days later. Unfortunately, the roof continued to leak and they returned numerous times, supposedly fixing the leak and applying more silicone base which never successfully solved the leaking problem. Finally upon demand to have the roof FINALLY fixed, the company said they would send someone to evaluate and finally fix the roof. The person sent was from another company and advised us that the entire roof needed to be ripped out and replaced.Desired Settlement: We would like our $3500 refunded.
