My door latch was broken and I was stuck inside my house I called Your Pro Locksmith and they had someone out here in less than minutes Eli and his assistant were extremely polite, and were able to use their tools to fix my door latch and help me install my new one I will use them again and very highly recommend their services and will use them in the future

I am rejecting this response because:I believe that your company needs to realize that when a customer calls and wants to know the price of a service and is told $19-$that is the number that we expect. Also, I did ask the tech why the price was so different and she stated that she just puts whatever her boss tells her to do. Then proceeded to tell me that the number that we call to make the appointments actually has no relation to the techs that go out to do the jobs, that she wished that the call center was not related to the techs positions because they have no idea what they are talking about half of the time. In addition, when I called and spoke to the man, he never once said that he was the one that spoke to me, scheduled me, and quoted me the price. The only thing he said was that he apologized, that he does not deal with the money aspect, all he does is schedule people, and that he would talk to the owner and call me back with what the owner said. Also, I can confidently say that my father and I are very level headed people and give people the benefit of the doubt a majority of the time. In this instance, neither of us were treated with the respect that we should have received from a business "owner" or "co-owner" in any way. The fact that the co-owner felt that she could say that I sound like someone who gets everything gave to me and that the customer is not always right, does not portray a professional business or owner what-so-ever. I am sure that we are not the only customers that are unhappy with the price difference from what we were quoted versus what we were charged. When buying a new house, most are aware that it is expensive. Which is exactly why I decided to go with ProLocks Pevely, the man who answered the phone was nice, and I was quoted a good price ($19-$per key) even though the staff states otherwise. I submitted this post to the Revdex.com because of how extremely unhappy I have been with the company since the tech came out to do the job. I never received a phone call from the manager prior to the tech arriving, like I was told. The tech was late. I was quoted $19-$per lock and was charged $per lock. My budget of $ended up being well over $200. How can a business succeed and strive when they under quote and call their customers *** I am extremely confused as to WHY they believe that this is a way to run a business. In addition, this would have never went as far as it has and I would have never submitted this to the Revdex.com if it was not for the fact that this was not handled in a professional and timely manner, when the "co-owner" called me a ***, and when none of my phone calls were ever returned and By the tech, the tech's manager, or the owners (those that answer the phones).
My reasoning for this is in hopes that others do not fall for your unrealistic quotes and get a large bill handed to them.
Sincerely,
*** ***

I am the one that took the call. I spoke to [redacted] initially and she told me she needed to get her locks rekeyed. I told her there is a $15 service fee and all re-keys START at $19. I told her on average they cost about $19-$24 per lock but it really depends on the lock and that she cannot quote...

me on this. I never promised her or told her a specific number. We sent the tech out, quotes her and hands her a receipt BEFORE any work was done. She signed the paper and agreed to the price. She paid the bill and the technician left. She said nothing to the technician period otherwise the technician would have called me. She then called about 3 days later. I explained to her we did not quote her and that I directly talked to her. Technicians cannot speak and drive, it is illegal. I told her we have nothing to do with the pricing and we handle no money over the phone. I told her she had a chance to disagree with the price when the tech handed her the receipt, but she chose to sign it and pay it.  The next day her father calls and cusses us out, calls us names, called us a scam. I told him she signed and agreed to the receipt. There will be no refund due. They are incredibly rude and would not even let us speak or even try to resolve the issue.
