Revdex.com:I never had a $limit on repair, I said to use new parts if needed, never asked him to install worn-out used parts installed wrong I certainly never said anything like a threat of any kind I will not pursue this further, not worth the trouble, but made the complaint to warn anyone else of this person's lack of skills and integrity It will cost me over hundred dollars to the shoddy work done with bad parts installed wrong, I thought I was helping out a guy who seemed to need the work

I took this customers car to another shop to get the alignment and the work I done checked out and their diagnosis was that the alignment was perfect and that there was nothing wrong with the suspension. They also said that the rack and pinion may be bad which is what I told him. This customer is is an impossible person to work with and nothing we do can satisfy him. He brought the car to me with over $9000 in suspension and body damage and wanted it to be perfect with all used parts. This is an impossibility, my employees did they best they could do with the money he was willing to spend and I am sorry we couldn't make him happier.

This customer was originally quotes $2700 for all new components to his car. He brought it to me because it was in a wreck and bent the left side suspension both front and rear. He explained that was a old car (2000 BMW 540 I) and he didn't want to spend that much money on it due to...

the fact that he was wanting to sell it. I suggested to him that we could put used parts on the car from the Auto Salvage yard to help keep the cost down. He agreed and ONLY wanted used parts on his car so he could keep the cost below $1000. The final amount I received was $990.45 and he refused to pay for the 4 tows at $75 per tow that were done to the vehicle because it would put him over his budget. The Vehicle aligned perfectly after the suspension was put on. During the test drive I noticed it pulling to the left. I told the Customer that the body shop need to do their repairs next before trying to figure out why the car was pulling to the left. The cars frame was bent by 5 inches and had to be straightened. After the car came back from the body shop we checked the alignment again and replaced the strut mounts, However; the car was now pulling to the left and sometimes pulling to the right. I told the customer that it wasn't the suspension causing the pull and that it felt like to me the rack and pinion unit that controls the steering of the car. Customer got all mad and refused to let me further diagnose the car. I told him from the beginning that there was no warranty on any used part. Once the part is installed, if there was something wrong with it, I would take the part back where I bought it from and get a replacement but he has to pay for the labor again. The customer agreed to the terms I set with him before any work was done to the car. Now another shop is telling him that you can't put used suspension parts on a car, so; He wants all his money back. This customer gave the body shop a hard time also trying to get his car fixed for free. Both of our business took thousands of dollars off of our original quotes just trying to bend over backwards to help and please him. When I finally told him that I refuse to play his games anymore he threatened me and told me "That you will be sorry" if I don't comply with his demands. I caution any business conducting business with this person because he is just trying to get something for nothing.
