To whom it may concern,Last September Mr*** hired me to eradicate a vole problem in his front yardThere were several dozen holes around an old removed tree stump so there was a descent amount of erosion adding to this problem which I informed him could result in an ongoing issueI
treated all the holes as I always do and filled all but a couple of the holes with topsoilI ran out of soil and told him I would return in a couple of weeks to check on progress and fill any holesAround weeks later my daughter was taken into the ER and had emergency surgery and spent several weeks in the Childrens ICULife was turned upside down for awhile and I lost track of many thingsI have a full time employee but he could only get so much doneI didn't contact all my customers like I should of.It took a couple of months to get back on trackI learned of the complaint mid December and called the Revdex.com immediatelyI promised to make the complaint rightThe terrible cold, ice and snow for 3-weeks made it impossible to treat voles in the groundSoon as the weather improved I contacted Mr*** and we had a fairly long conversation and I arrived later that day and retreated some burrowsMany of the burrows were erosion from the decaying stump and roots with only a few active rodent holesI filled them all and we met and shook hands and talked some moreI promised I would return in about weeks and service the yard againI returned again weeks later early in the morning so I didn't bother him but I filled only holes and called him later in the day when I knew he would be up and aboutI explained to him what I found and did on that service trip and we should be done at this point but I would return to monitor now and thenI extended his day warranty to a yearThat was about weeks ago for my last trip so I am returning on 3\15\for another inspectionI don't expect to find any activity but want to make sure. The homeowner has been very understanding, pleasant, and patient through this process with meThe job went well as could be expected success-wise but not as far as the timeline goesA major family emergency and terrible winter weather are legitimate excuses but still unacceptableThis is the only major issue I have faced in my years in businessI don't plan to ever have to type and email another response again.I also need to apologize to the organizationI started fixing this problem and even when I did, I didn't respond with this email in a timely mannerI wasn't thinking correctly how the process worked so when I got my latest letter recently I immediately called the Revdex.com but that wasn't the correct responseI work out of my truck, with a phone in the field days a week minimum so my desk computer is rarely used by meThe nice gentlemen guided me today so I promised to sit down tonight at my computer and type out a formal responseI hope this email serves its purpose correctly and professionally.Sincerely,*** ***
