In regards to the unhappy customer, he asked us to arrange financing on his behalf once they decided they wanted to purchaseWe secured financing and after all the numbers were disclosed they agreed to finalize the saleA number of days later
he came back claiming "it feels like the front end is falling out" so he wanted his money backHe and his wife show up and wind up getting into an argument in our office, then the real reason comes out...she doesn't think he can drive itTheir argument escalated to talking divorce so I told them I would try to sell it for themAt that time I took it to a repair facility to make sure the front end was okayThe repair faciliy said there was minimal warpage on the front rotors so I had them repairedAfter a few weeks the customers returned and said they changed their minds, they want to keep it so they can head west for the winterAfter letting them know that I had the front rotors turned, he wanted to go for a drive to make sure the issue was resolvedAfter the drive he was satisfied with the repairsA couple of weeks or so later he shows up maintaining another repair facility told him the front rotors along with the rear brakes were all bad and he needed to spend *** to get the brakes replacedThe brakes were in fine shape, however if they had needed to be repaired, it wouldn't cost anywhere near *** to get new onesI proceeded to let him know he was getting ripped off and at that time he began to call me names and get ugly, so I ended the conversationFurthermore, for him to claim he had no idea that the paperwork he was signing was for the purchase of a motor home is just not trueWe feel that we have tried everything possible resolve the issues that the customer has brought to our attentionHe test drove the unit before the purchase, signed a "as is" buyers guide at the time of purchase, and I feel that we have gone above and beyond what was required to try to make him happy
