Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This response is not sufficient! The pants and the suite I took there were brand new (within 2-weeks of purchase) and once I picked them up from his business they had holes in them Here is the problem and where his argument makes no sense I am retired military, over years of service and I have "wool" garments that are/were my uniforms NEVER IN MY YEARS HAVE I HAD AN INSECT MAKE HOLES IN MY CLOTHESI have lived at my residence for over years So what Mr [redacted] refuses to take ownership on is that "what if these insects came from his location?" "what if someone else actually brought these insects in?" He deals with hundreds if not thousands of other peoples' laundry and this could have caused these so called insects to get on my garments! No other garments in my closet have holes in them!!! ONLY THE GARMENTS THAT WERE TAKEN TO Mr [redacted] business HAVE HOLES IN THEM So here is the problem, yes perhaps those are holes were inflicted by insects but those insects did not come from my closet! This makes no sense how no other garments beside my pants & suite that were in his possession have "insect" damages I do not take tops (shirts) to Mr [redacted] business only my pants and my suites and those are the only garments I have holes in I have plenty of other older pants that I have never taken to the cleaners and they have no holes in them, only the specific pants that where in mr [redacted] possession have damage!!! As I stated before, I want to know how many others have complained about this and he simply uses this excuse of "insects" that live in his customers' closets??? No way! I will not be another victim of mr [redacted] poor business practice and refusal to take responsibility of his own actionsThis is not about money, I make a very comfortable living earning figures a year This is about Mr [redacted] not taking ownership of his responsibilities Yes, it makes sense to be the owner of a dry cleaning company and refute any issues that simply point at an insect, No way! this did not happen at my house and these clothes were brand new when they messed them up Regards, *** [redacted]

We have researched Mr***s’ cleaning history with Culpepper Cleaners from July to October 31, During this time we did not receive a suit for cleaning from Mr*** I have included copies of all of the invoices with the detailed information of garments brought in for cleaningWe will continue our offer to have the garments in question sent for analysis. *** ***CGCP Certified Garment Care Professional

Culpepper Cleaners / [redacted]  owner [redacted]            [redacted]   [redacted]     I received one pair of pants initially to look at from Mr. [redacted]. The pants...

had several small holes on the front and on the back pocket area. After inspection the appearance and size of the holes led me to the conclusion of insect damage. I received a phone call from Mr. [redacted] in which he stated his belief that we caused the damage. I disagreed and stated so. He later returned several other garments with similar damage. Upon inspection of these other garments I feel more than certain the damage has been caused by insects. Insects, such as moths, will lay their eggs on clothes most often which have been put up without being cleaned and when the larvae hatches the small insects will eat the food substance and cause damage to the fabric. This takes a period of time to occur. Mr. [redacted] has had insect damage occur to his garments and my recommendation is to call an exterminator and to have all garments cleaned before they are hung up in the closet, especially woolens.   I will be happy to send his garments to the International Textile Analysis Laboratory to determine the cause of the damage, at our expense.  I have included a bulletin which explains the type of insect damage which has occurred to [redacted]s’ garments.  Respectfully Submitted, [redacted] CGCP / Certified Garment Care Professional

Mr. [redacted], continue going back until you see when I dropped off my suite, it was more than once. I am not certain why you only searched from July-October17. I really wish you would stop acting like you are not at fault here.
Being that this is being published and read by the public, answer this question. Is this the first time that someone complained about this same issue??? I DO NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF INSECT IN MY CLOSET. It makes no sense but an easy cop out for you Mr. [redacted]. I will repeat what I said, I agree this looks like it may have been ruined by this insect, but this insect DID NOT COME FROM ME OR MY HOME. I am not sure if you understand that or if you are having a difficult time wanting to. I will ask you again, what are the chances that someone else who did have an insect problem bring them into your environment, in your bags that you put other peoples' garments in when we drop them off???????????
I would like to see know what measures you are taking to ensure you are properly sanitizing your facilities?? the chances of someone dropping off clothes that have this insect is quite hi don't you agree? and this would introduce the insect into your environment right? it would spread wouldn't it? so if it was in my environment it would spread right? how funny, none of my other garments have any wholes in them, just my dress pants and suite that I've taken there. You can take my clothes anywhere you want and do lab work, heck send them to NCIS San Antonio for all I care, it's not a question of what caused the wholes, do you understand that? it's that it happened in your possession in your facility, do you understand that? So go ahead and do what you need to do, but be man enough to explain to the Revdex.com that you will not take ownership of your poor business practice and lack of professionalism when dealing with paying customers by immediately placing blame on them so that you don't lose money.
Mr. [redacted], I won't be blamed for your services causing damage to my clothing.
